    From what I have read, Ford says the 0-60 times are the same for the MT and Auto but various car tests show that the Auto is about a tenth or two slower than a MT in the 1/4 mile. This seems to be the case from what I have seen at the track.

    It was the weather, trust me. 95-102 degrees? There is no way you could run 13s in that heat and a stock GT is capable of that. Advice for better times? Try again in October when it is cooler.

    +1 If you Supercharge it, go with 3.73s. I am going with 3.73s in the future but my car is a daily driver. I will never add a Supercharger because I kind of despise them because forced-air induction is the only way the Japanese can build a fast car. Non-aspirated all the way baby!

    Your 60 foot times are better than anything I have ever done and I have done the 1/4 in 13.682 and also done three 13.7 runs. Your problem is your 1/8 mile times and mph. Most of mine are low 9s and around 80mph. What was the weather like that day? Temp/humidity and barometric pressure.

    Mickey Thompson Street ETs on the rears on a cool day probably could get you into the 12s alone. I have heard that they cut .4 to .5 of a second off your 1/4 mile time. I am not sure I want the hassle of changing tires on race day all the time.
