    Yeah, strict California emissinons. Got the car ready for it, and a week later stalls at idle. I think that one thing had nothing to do with the other, just a coincidence that it happened so soon. So any ideas what it might be? BTW, I wish we didn't have emissions here, lucky you.

    I forgot to mention that I replaced plugs and ignition wires last week and smoged it. Someone asked me if I disconected the battery before I did it and said that if I didn't, that computer may still think it's running on old parts (I think it's bs but I did it anyway) so the check engine light...

    If I'm not mistaken, the tires that are originally on it are 225/55/16, the matching 17's would be 245/45/17. With that said 255/45/17 will have overall diamater of 26.04 in and 275/40/17 is 25.66 in. so they're different. I have 245/45/17 all around and front rub at full turn and I had to flip...

    Which thermostat for my needs?

    OK, I live in SoCal and don't use my car all that much. My radiator finally started leaking all over and I'm replacing the rad, upper and lower hoses and thermostat. Which one should I use? BTW, I scored new 3 row radiator for 80 bucks! Thanks in advance, Phil.
