    my tuner just blew up his g-force t-5 friday night. 96 cobra w/ a 5.0 on N.O.S. he said it sounded like a bomb went off. but the car did a 1.39 60 foot on slicks when it went. blew up on the 1-2 shift. car didn't even make 500rwhp i dont think. broke the case and everything.

    idle started hanging up

    allright, found the iac screw all the way in. backed it out 1 1/2 turns, took the car out, idle still hangs up. but now it's different, i hangs at 1600-1700rpm till the car comes to a complete stop, then drops to where it should be. i'm gonna swap the tps from my coupe and see what happens.

    if i shut the car off and start it again, the idle goes back to normal. till i drive it again and it starts hanging up again. it's not surging at all, it just sticks. or if it comes down to like 1100-1200rpm it will climb up to 1500-1600rpm by itself.

    on our way to the mustang show at summit last weekend. car starts hanging the idle at 1500rpm. now, it dont do it all the time. when we left summit it didn't do it. got in the car later that evening, did it again. i'm thinking tps or maybe the meter. any help here?

    the issue is the oil tube. there was no room for the tb and the c&l to come together. and even if i did, i wouldn't have been able to get a cap on the oil tube

    does anyone make them that ACTUALLY fit our cars? bought some from summit that say they will fit but don't. and guess what? summit won't take them back cuz they were already on the car. well how the hell am i supposed to figure out that they wouldn't fit unless i put them on? now i am out $240...

    the bbk fits around my track heat intake, so i'm sure it would fit around the cobra. also, ford racing makes one.

    the car that made 301 has a cam, the car in my sig had a stock cam. these are two different cars. and i know what the /c/ in h/c/i stands for. and the stock cam was installed however they install it at ford.
