    Well this kind of sucks...

I think in the next few years we'll see an improved interior, a better v6, a tad more HP in the GT, very minor exterior tweaks, and more special editions.

    Well this kind of sucks...

How many loans do you really want to juggle? Kind of depends on your income and how secure you feel in being able to maintain it. But I don't think we'll see any significant changes to the S197 for a while.

    NEED HELP ON COLOR!!!

The silver is classic. That's what I'd get (I'd want silver/black interior, though). I really hate the purple hue in the Tungsten.

    Black 05 GT.... RIP

Glad you're okay. Seems like these new Mustangs are pretty safe.

    What's your inventory like?

I wonder how many of those V6s are manuals, and how cheap the dealers will let them go.

    new Challenger

I dunno. I've been surprised how many folks on my classic Mopar board are saying they just want the cheapest manual V6 for a daily driver type car--assuming it comes in at low 20s. I think the V6 Mustang maybe has a stigma from the rental fleets. A slightly more sophisticated V6 car could do...

Local Paper says all Stangs at INVOICE!!!

Hit the nail on the head. By 2008 or 2009 they better put a more sophisticated V6 in there and improve the interior finish/materials, and improve the marketing.

    new Challenger

I agree that if it doesn't end up having a useable back seat it won't last long. Every die hard Mopar guy will buy one but then it will be over. However, if it has a decent back seat and they can keep the price down it might do fairly well. And the 250HP V6 gets half-decent mileage. I still...

    new Challenger

I suspect the Challenger will have a bigger/more useable back seat and a much bigger trunk than the Mustang.

    2009 Camaro leaked image

I think the Challenger has a much better chance of making it to production. GM is a mess. Oh, and I think it's kinda ugly, too.

All I can say is I've never regretted quitting a job. Do you have kids? If not, move and downsize and I bet you can have your cake and eat it to.

When are you getting yours? :p edit--dang, post #666 for me...

    Good price for 2005 GT???

I don't think it will be much longer before there are deals on new GTs, and before used 05 GTs start to drop under the $20k mark.

    Traction Control Woes

Hey, watch what you say about B-bodies! :D  And yeah, I learned how to drive in empty parking lots with no one else around...not that I'd personally recommend it or anything... :rlaugh:

    Traction Control Woes

:rlaugh: Agree. Why buy a GT if you're afraid of it? And why would any parent buy one of these cars for their kid?
