PI HEAD QUESTION FOR ALL YEARS!

You are correct. The power down below is just a tad less than compared to a PI cam. But more than makes up for it up top.

PI intake swaps get in here

The aluminum crossover from your old intake can be transferred to the PI intake as long as the PI intake also has the aluminum crossover. It should bolt right up. Just get a PI intake from a 02 and newer. This will save you from having to tap the second hole for your temp sensor. You can...

    Need Spark Plugs

For the wires definetly go with the FMS wires. I have the red ones and it sharpens up the look under the hood.

    EXHAUST BACKPRESSURE...GOOD OR BAD???

You might notice it a little down low, but it will run much better up top. It will help unchoke some of the lost power of the NPI motor. To me I would also do the whole catback because it gives it a cleaner look in the undercarriage.

You still running with the NPI heads? Also when you are coming over to New Orleans so I can see how your runs? Anther question, did you ever sell your blower?

PI HEAD QUESTION FOR ALL YEARS!

What's up! Anyway not tying to flame anyone, but in my opinion the added compression is what I did not want. Yes spray works great with the compression, but I do not plan on doing that. Compression is great for doing N/A mods. And it is also true a .550 lift will out perform a .500 lift cam...

This is my future mod list, do you approve?

Definetly get the gears as one of your first mods. Then move down the list. I wouldn't really worry about the plenum right now. I would say use the money from the plenum combo and buy some VT stage 1 cams. The cams are only about $100 more then the plenum/throttle body combo. Also...

    1997 Mustang GT

Definetly go with some gears. I would say 4.10 IMO. Anyway with that many miles I would just drive as is except maybe for some bolt-ons (exhaust) and save up to put a PI engine in it.

    GEARSWAP INFO NEEDED!!!

With you having an auto I would definetly go with 4.10 no less.

All the bolts are also longer for the installation with the adapter plates. You will have to find these to. Just remember if you trim the top of it you will most likely need to rethread it to mount the plenum.

    Finished install of PI intake

Hey Kev...I meant to ask you what difference did you notice with the modified intake. Did they shave the mount for the plenium/throttle body to allow it to fit? I really could not tell. I think what they do thou is shave down the plenum area for clearance issues. It is a clean kit I...

    Finished install of PI intake

I still do have the stock heads but with Comp Cams. The heads aren't really that bad at all. By putting on the intake and cams it is a whole other car after 3000 rpm. By me doing this I will be able to run a blower in the future without the worries of compression from a headswap. Like what...

    roots type blower on 98gt.

I not sure bu I don't think you will be able to get a blower from Saleen for the NPI heads. I might be wrong thou. I do know that you can get the SVO blower used pretty cheap. I seen them anywhere between 1200-1700 used.
