The emphasis is on trucks primarily because it is the biggest market.

    Would you rather the '06 Cobra have a S/C V8 or V10?

Actually, I'd argue that most people buying a new Mustang are high school/college chicks who don't even know what a V8 is...(and they don't care) About v10s sounding bad, they all do, and there's a scientific reason for it. Surely someone can explain it, but I don't remember...

    Would you rather the '06 Cobra have a S/C V8 or V10?

Ford won't even put a big V8 in the Mustang, and you're all dreaming of V10s.

The Mustang II was a good idea. Sales soared. It may have saved the Mustang line. They are also good handlers, and with them being so light, it's easy to make them fast. They may seem pretty lame now, but the II was the exact car Ford needed to get through that time period.

The Taurus was eleventy billion times more important than the Mustang several years ago, and Ford totally F-ed up the new model. Yet Ford is still there. It's because the most important vehicles for the business are trucks. The Mustang is important, but it's not like they'd be reeling without it.

Sorry, but you're just flat out wrong about that. Ford can live without the Mustang. The only vehicle that is do-or-die for Ford is the F-150.

    Mustang Myths?

Not really a viable option. There MIGHT be one or 2 that are complete and running, but even that is a rumor. Regardless of being somewhat compatible with the Ford block, it still takes massive amounts of fabrication and money. You can do anything if you set your mind to it. I'm still calling...

    Mustang Myths?

You're talking about prototypes here. 3 were made. It might as well have not existed, because it is NOT an option. Therefore, the 16v head is a myth. I just had a guy the other day tell me I could put a 16v head on the SVO. I was like, um, ok, whatever.
