Conflicting Stories On Using A9p For Mass Air Swap

I have an A9p in my car. Works great. However not to confuse you but my 88 was a factory Cali mass air car and was an AOD car which is now a T5 car. I've read the o2 sensor harness info on other threads. Do some research. You can burn the box up if you have the wrong o2 harness.

Engine Head Gasket Swap... Questions Within

Me personally I always put a "smeared with my finger" amount of RTV around the intake and head sides of the intake gasket. Only exception would be NEW heads and NEW intake. Bent Pushrods, Floating Valves?

IMO and from 20+ years of experience, blue RTV has no purpose. EVER. Right stuff in the gray or black higher end ones are the bomb. I love me some "Big Daddy" Don, but their stuff is not together very long. I wanna seal it up and never mess with it again. In all honesty I never use ANY red...

1989 Gt Half Throttle Stumbles And Chokes After New Exhaust

Unhook exhaust at headers and see if it is fixed. If not or before that try a light tap on the top of the TPS sensor. I had one act similar once with a bad TPS.

Head Gasket Repair + Performance Goodies

Ratchet, socket, bolt in center of crank pulley, turn engine with ratchet. The piston tops do not need to be spotless. Wipe um, scrape um a little with a razor blade if you wish. Do not scratch the cylinders or spend 2 weeks scratching at the top of your pistons. Clean the engine deck surface...
