    I talked to Tom via email and he told me I didn't need to port it with my combo. I would have liked to have it ported prior to powder coat but he is right. It will flow fine for this combo. I think this combo will be here a while.

    I had them milled .030, valve job, cooked, installed my spring kit and set installed height. Needed guides and 1 valve.

    Had time to do some assembly. Cleaned injectors (Explorer 4 hole) and installed new service kits with filters, seals, etc. Note the SN 95 fuel rail. And I got a call from the machine shop....

    Now you are making some sense..kinda. Is the #3 injector stuck open? Dripping in? That'll put fuel in the oil in a hurry. And it will wash down one cylinder. PS if it has that much fuel in the oil you DO NOT want it to fire at this point. KABOOOOOOOOOM! Change the oil before you get a good spark...

    I'm not seeing the PTV clearance as being checked properly. It has no compression. Bent valves? Timing chain jumped? Back the rockers off on one cylinder and air that cylinder up.     I'd bet with that combo that the drag radials would hook it right up too. And I have a 3.73 in mine and I feel it is very streetable. If it was my daily and I was a commuter I MAY go with a 3.55.

    Umm..there is NO shifter linkage. Try again. Pull the console, boot, lower boot, shifter bolts and pull it out. Broke the shifter, the bushing is pooped, or the trans. Let us know.

    Keep the gear in mind when you swap your tires out. A taller tire will kill the 60 ft with your gear. If you wanna keep the gear thats ok, figure it into the tire size equation if you want to have lower 60 ft times. Anything that hooks will be an improvement though.
