    Heads For Perfomer Intake

If you have the heads off, you are a few bolts from the cam. Or 1.7 rockers on the stock cam to help get the thing to work with your intake. As far as heads I like AFR 165's but they cost the same as anything else. Good moderate street/strip head. Pick what you want but match the whole set-up...

Drivetrain Vibration From The Rear End In 5th Gear

If it was fine and then had a problem leave the timing alone. It didn't just change overnight. Put wires on it and see what ya get.

    Fox Mustang Radio Wiring

Mine was that way. I added the OE harness connectors back in and used the adapter harness. Why? I dunno. Someday this car will be collectable lol.

    Mail Order Hotrods

It amazes me. I order from Summit on Sunday evening and Monday afternoon the brown truck shows up. He hated me the other week when he had two cast iron cylinder heads.

    Mail Order Hotrods

The big chain parts stores are really a blessing now. There are several Auto Zones, and Advance Auto's all around me now. They carry a lot of stuff. I mean yes they don't have a nitrous set up in most of them but you can usually find a way to fix what is broke same day from one of them. I search...

Best Dye To Use On Seats

The rears are usually in good shape. An upholstery shop can sell you a light piece of foam to help it out if needed. What I meant was that if you can work a pair of pliers and take your time, installing new covers and foam is not bad. I used to do it all the time at a dealer. Anything under...

    Mail Order Hotrods

You had to stop what you were doing and drive to get it..usually with a broken car and hope they had it in stock. I much rather point, click, and have it all thought out and here before I begin. Most places have it to me in 2 days or less. Plus the prices are better. Summit killed the speed shop.

    Mail Order Hotrods

When I was young...ehhhem. We had to go to the speed shop. It was actually more of a PITA than mail order, provided you research before you order.

Best Dye To Use On Seats

Ya I was talking about the vert. People really see the interior in one with the top down. A hard top is much more forgiving. PS if you buy the stuff from TMI do it yourself. It isn't hard. The sewing is the hard part.

Best Dye To Use On Seats

I had an 88 Vert GT years ago. Red and silver with a white leather interior. Of course it was shot. I had my upholstery shop do a nice white vinyl that looked like leather with a red soft canvas in the center where you sit and matching rear seat. It was fabulous. People drooled over it. You...

Drivetrain Vibration From The Rear End In 5th Gear

Not what I said lol. It could be a cracked plug yes. My money is on a bad wire. Burned or corroded inside the end at the plug or cap. Just speculation here but I'd start looking at wires. A spark miss is the most likely miss to occur under load. Plugs don't usually crack for no reason. And wires...

Sometimes when you let the engine hang back, say when replacing a transmission, the fan makes contact with something and alters its shape. It then retains said shape and may make just enough difference at higher speed than idle to contact things it never contacted before. Are ya steppin in what...

That sounds like a spark miss under load.

Drivetrain Vibration From The Rear End In 5th Gear

If it is RPM dependent can you duplicate it while stopped with the clutch in if you slowly raise the rpms? If it is speed dependent and it only does it at a certain speed, then if it IS doing it does it go away when you push the clutch in? If it is RPM dependent does it do it in 4th gear or 3rd...
