You are incorrect. Several of the pan bolts go into the case. Not all of them go straight threw to the other side.
I put Locite thread sealer on the bolts and torqued them down to 120 inch lbs. I let the car sit all day to make sure they seal.

DONT GET THE E303. You will have lots of issues.
I built my new 306 with a E303 and had non-stop problems. Even got a chip burnt and still wasn't driveable.
I went back to stock and for the driveabilty I gained, couldn't be happier.
UPDATE:
I have replaced the pan with a B&M cast alum pan. Very nice item and very strong. Came with a drain plug and holds 3 more quarts.
However, she is still leaking.
I belive the leak is coming from the rear right corner bolt hole and the front driver corner bolt hole.

I just bought a TCI deep finnned alum. AODE tranny pan. Hopefully this will fix my leaks.
Does anyone has any experience with the TCI deep pan?
Is it good quality? Any issues?

UPDATE,
I tried to re-seal the pan with red gasket maker RTV and guess what........
The rear of the pan in the middle is leaking.
This have got to be the leak from HELL!
1. AODE LEAK that will not go away!!!!
2. Have to turn rear springs around so that the pigtail faces forward.
Thats about it. BUT THE AODE LEAK IS A PITA!!!!
