The EvM kit was supposed to be done for a while now... I was actually a little surprised by how fast they initially said it would be completed....especially as a bolt-in kit...while from reading about the lateral dynamics part, it sounds like they have been working on the basic design for a long...
The extra weight in the Shelby comes from the transmission, clutch, iron 5.4, supercharger/plumbing, brakes, seats...
Ronale... Don't like it. The Shelby at MSRP is hard to beat for the money...but I wouldn't pay over MSRP for one, thats for sure.
I know the wheels dimensions that I want - how do I pick the correct housing and axles, so that when it is all together, the wheels tuck "just right"?
I guess I could get the wheels and tires, sit them under the car, then measure between the mounting face of the wheel? figure in for rotor...
Wow, I really like everything I see there...except..
$200 for custom length axle housings? I mean, don't they have to cut it anyways during fabrication - whats the issue making it a specified length? I could see $50 or so for special order paperwork, or something like that, but jeeez.
^^Yep, and I bet he is out of the country and will "fly in" to help get you the car. This could be the type of scam that they are just after a huge deposit, then they are gone.
Receipt AND in writing? You can get this car.
An attorney will not charge all that much for just a "threat" letter - and usually that's all it takes to get things done. Your attorney should just write a letter stating their intentions and the charges that are to be filed. Also have him say...
315s kinda fit, but from what I understand, they rub.
Im planning on 315s on the rear of my fastback - but Im not going to have leaf-springs. I'm also researching if I can fit a 17x9 - 275/40 setup on the front using the griggs suspension and some masaging.
Lol, not my first choice either, but when I saw it on that car, it didn't look as bad as I had pictured it in my mind.
Tungsten w/silver or black w/tungsten for me please :)
It's still together, believe it or not - 16+lbs. However, he did eat a set of head gaskets, finally :) (they were original!). He doesn't drive it much though and it's a pretty safe tune as far as the fuel goes, but I too think it's a time bomb :)
Here's a link to his car...
Crap! - and just like that, I found it again! :)

Doesn't look like it's had any updates since the last time I looked.
I guess I need to qualify myself here....I've owned an aftercooled t-trim setup and we installed an HP single kit on my friends 7k mile 93gt - other than the kit, 100% stock and over 600rwtq.
I've spent years on turbomustangs.com, so I know about combos that dont require ICs. The fact is...
AHh, I remember seeing this now. The first thing I looked for was the IC - no IC? I know the project is probably difficult to begin with and routing an intercooler would only add to the task, but personally, I wouldn't run a turbo kit without one. I had some pictures of a killer turbo project...
Yes, I sold my 93 coupe. I really regret selling it though - it was so damn nice :)
I ended up buying a 67 fastback. I almost bought a coupe, but the seller backed out at the last minute :( I got a pretty good deal on the FB though. It came with an Eleanor kit, and a ton of new parts...
Hey man - it's Jeff from Pro-touring. You know I love your car - looks better every day!
I gotta ask though - is that a buffing wheel sitting on the GROUND next to your car? That should be illegal next to a car like that!
This is going to sound messed up, but I often tell my wife that if I was driving and could swerve left to avoid a human, or right to avoid a dog - I would have a hard time choosing.
I'm guilting of picking up strays any time I see them. I found my dog, Cooper, at my work (busy intersection)...
Here's what I think we will see...
The 03/04 cars were quick, but not many people could duplicate the 12.40ish benchmark that was set - I mean, It happened, but conditions had to be perfect and it just wasn't that typical.
I'm hoping that the difference will be that, with the Shelby, most...
