    1st vette is a 2000 C5 with boltons, last vette is a 2002 C6 with a built 408 and 2 stages of nitrous, runs low 10's.

    A 96 GT is slow, shouldnt be surprised:shrug: The SRT-4 should be quicker but sadly not quick enough to outrun ugly.

    So I took my A/C in to get looked at, could not find any leaks and the system checked out ok. They recharged the system and now it works great but there is a problem. With the A/C on the car is idling around 1,100-1,200rpm's, with it off it idles fine.....850-900rpm's. What is the problem here...

    315's on stock wheels?

    Those are Nitto's and thats why they fit, they run smaller than most other tires. I ran 315 Nitto drags on my 18x9 saleens on my cobra with no problems but the BFG's would never fit right. 315 nitto is like a 285 in most other tires.

    I just noticed that on the vin# on the bottom of my windshield it has the words "Air Bag" stamped over it in white letters, what does this mean? Ive never seen it on any of my mustangs before.     NITROUS PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

    Zex kits make less at the wheels than say NX or NOS systems, its a known fact. Is the car tuned? Its not needed for a 100 shot but will help you see the full potential of the spray. you can run a 125 shot no problem with a tune on that car....even 150 is with a good tune but most stop at 125...

    Walked out of a 7-11 the other day....

    My 8 yr old son knows everykind of mustang, I have taught him well. He can point out a GT, Cobra, Bullitt, Mach1, ect... he is even better at pointing out ricers and has even yelled"RICER" at them out the car window at times, ive put an end to that cause its gonna get one of us shot:rlaugh:

    100 shot on a zex kit is more like a 75 shot with most other kits, but still you would notice a big difference. Wish I could help but im a little lost as to what the problem may be:shrug:

    The DF is good for a DD, the DFX is a monster,had it in my cobra and not good for a DD.
