    That sounds ok to me as long as you're getting some rotation of the lug nut before you reach the desired torque. The problem is more with shops that are not taking proper care with the final torque. They will use the same gun and settings for all lug nuts and that is just not right!

    Check all connectors and rubber hoses, correct as needed. Is there a gas smell in the oil >> fuel pump diaphram, replace fuel pump Check the condition of plugs > black = rich What kind of carb? Go to manufacture's site for tuning instructions. Best I could to with the information given.

    You want to be sure the inflated height of the car is the same as the tires on the car. Otherwise you can screw up the rear end in a few miles.

    Your 93 GT should smack the classic all over the place. Using the current HP rating method, a stock C code would only produce about 170 hp at the flywheel and ~130 at the tires.     Unless the electrode is burned down you could try cleaning and regapping the ones you have. If they are the kind with the crush washer just be careful not to over tighten.
