    no bulb touch.....no moisture. Smoking from where the wire goes into the bulb (the bulb base). I still dunno how the hell I screwed it up??? There's two loose wires, but I think I've figured that it's for the high beams....I bought a single system, so I'll have to tape em' off. I will post...

    I must have somehow...... I mean all the sockets lined up, and the two clip thingies went into the other hid socket........black 2 black >>> red 2 red :shrug:. That's y I'm so damn confused. I did see 2 other bare wires off of the relay harness(no connectors of any type) that I didn't notice...

    I'm just used to my old school snowies (old pair lasted 8 years). I think they still make that truck style, but just for 15" rims and smaller. My Pirelli 410 snowsports are great on the wet pavement - no snow here yet tho. I don't drive too fast or brake too late, but I'm just not thinking...

    Ok here we go....short n sweet. Hooked up a vvme 50w kit with relay harness, very easy install, BUT the passenger side bulb starts smoking:eek: WTF!! I just sent them an email, but probably won't hear back for a bit - the install was a very easy PnP. Any insight guys??? happen to anyone...

    serious?? My exhaust note seems pretty good on my vert - weird to think Ford would put out the money for 2 types of mufflers on the s197 platform (excluding the 500 and bullitt for the smart a$$es). I dunno, I call bull$hit :p

    Does anyone know if a tire company makes the "old school" type of snowy (even off brands)? Y'know, the type of tread you can stick your fist inbetween? These newer, very expensive, softer type tires wear out so fast (X-ice etc...), and the tread design doesn't inspire any confidence with me...

    x2 ................. From everything I've read/heard, this gear ratio is generally noisy - wether motive is the maker of all of those I do not know. 4.10 ftw!
