    Ford Motorsports Rear-End Gears??

True. If you transfer all the parts from the explorer, I dont think you will have too big of a problem. BUT I would just spend the extra dough on some new gears. Better deal. And I really wouldnt put gears in that have around 50k on them. Just too many miles for my taste. I prefer brand new.

    removing stock studs header install

I checked the bolts about every hundred miles for the first 500 miles. Mine never loosened at all. But I know when we did my buddies, his came loose around 200 miles after install. Just tighten them up and keep checking. Eventually they will stay.

    removing stock studs header install

My stock studs came out with no problem. Sprayed em down with some liquid wrench 2-3 times before I took them out. I will warn you, I had 2 of the stage 8 bolts not fit with my BBK long tubes. I had to use the hardware that came with my l/t's for cylinder 7 and 8.

for the people who have/had side exit

Mine never made any noise, it was just too close to the side skirt for me. I just fooled around with the exit pipe where it connects to the muffler until it fit just right.

    Headers........??

I got the BBK LT's and it was a pain to install on the ground. We didnt pull the motor, but we had to take the pass side motor mount off, and loosen the drivers so we could jack the motor up about 4 inches. It gave us just enough room. The bigest pain was messing with the starter. Invest in the...

ring blow by or valve stem seals

You would have to do a compresion and leak down test to find out for sure if its the rings. Like said earlier, on high mileage mods, the valve stem seals do go bad on the mod motors.

Tri-Ax, Pro 5.0 - Who has owned both?

My buddy had an 89 with a Pro 5.0. He liked it a lot, but the shifter handle broke off while he was driving about 2 years after he put it in. He had to get the shifter handle welded back in place.

    annoying exaust rattle!!!!

Yeah, an exhaust shop should be able to fix your problem. I would mess with the pipes myself first to try and get it to work before I paid anybody.

    Long Tube Header Question?

When I installed mine I noticed some more power in higher rpms. Its a good mod, especially if you are going to go with a supercharger.
