    Which head gasket for y303 heads?

    I'm about to put my engine back together and I was wondering if I need to get a special head gasket for the Y303 aluminum heads or can I use a stock head gasket? Thanks for any help!

    Front Swaybar question

    I don't have 90/10 shocks & skinnies on the front but I have'nt had a front sway bar for over a year and my "emergency manuver capability" has been fine. Just my 2cent.

    I'm in the process of pulling my engine to rebuild it and I can't decide which cam to go with either. I thought about getting the trick flow stage 1. I would like to get a split duration cam because I heard they were better, but I don't know. :shrug: I'll probably just get the trick flow stage...

    My mustang came with a Zex dry kit in it. The guy I bought the car from said that it was set up for 75hp and he had lost the other jets that came with the kit. Could someone please tell me what size jet or jets I need to make 125hp? Here's a link to the Zex site with the different jet sizes...

    Is a T5 from a 95 Gt the same as an 89 Gt. Mine is about gone and I don't have the money right now to get a new one. I have a friend with one out of a 95 Gt that he said he would sell me for $250. :shrug: Any help will be appreciated.

    I just got a motor.

    I went back to the junk yard today and both the cars I had seen before were 89 lincolns and do not have HO on the name plate. They only have 5.0 EFI on them. Are they still worth getting? I really just want a block to build.

    Is there a break-in period for a new ring & pinion?

    As soon as the guy finished installing my 3.73 I took my car straight out on the road in front of the shop and boiled the tires thru 1st & 2nd :shrug: A few months later I got a thunderbird TC rearend with 3.55's. My dad is using the rearend now and he hasn't had any problems.

    I found 2 lincoln's in the junk yard with the 5.0's in them and both have the HO plate on the intake. I want to get one to build but I didn't know if they were the same block as the mustang. The intakes on both Lincoln's are turned opposite than the mustang intake. I can get one of the engine's...

    Gear drive on a street/strip car?

    I have a quiet one in my 69 C10 and its not quiet at all. I will be taking it out soon. My dad has the quiet one in his stang and you can't here the engine running because the whinning of the gear. :notnice:
