Wiring up toggle for electric fan...need assistance.

FWIW I run mine off a toggle only. The PO had wired it in and it worked fine for a year and then crapped out one day. He ran the hot side through the switch so I changed it and ran the ground through the switch and fused the hot side with a 30a fuse. It's worked so far but I'm a bit lucky I...

    drag races, Atlanta Motor Speedway

The track is about 3 miles from my house so I will be there but I'm not going to race. I'm not about to line up next to one of those off-loaded trailer cars. I'll pay my entry fee to watch and hopefully a lot of others will too.

Autometer or Ford Racing OP and WT gauge

Autometer makes the gauges for Ford. If you're wanting the electric OP then your decision has been made, Ford doesn't carry an electric OP gauge. I found out the hard way after I ordered my mechanical WT gauge. Now though I'm glad I went with mechanicals. I run the braided line to the pillar and...

How much did you spend coverting to 5 lug disc?

When I bought my car it was converted using the Lincoln/Ranger setup. I kept the Ranger setup in the rear and swapped the fronts. I bought 94 spindles/hubs/rotors/calipers for $125 and SS lines for about $70. Then I wanted the Cobra setup so I bought Mach 1 calipers for $160 and a friend gave me...

    Instrument Cluster Bezel

^^^ To add to that the 87-89 had the idiot lights on the lower right side of the cluster, the 90-93 doesn't have that. They interchange rather easily, I'm running a '90 cluster bezel in my '89 with the '89 gauge cluster.

Amazing, possibly the dumbest man on earth, literally

I'm guessing most that posted here aren't familiar with Phil Hendrie and his "style" of show. He is a radio God, too bad he has retired.

How to remove rear speaker deck cover?

They have two IIRC large plastic push pins that secure the shelf to the metal frame. They are located behind the very top of the seat back. Look for those if it has never been removed before. Oh and even if you take the quarter panel plastics out completely you will probably have to bend the...

    Are all fox dashes interchangeable...

All dashes from 87-93 can be made to work. I put a dash out of a '90 in my '89, if you do a search you'll see some pics of how I had to mod the fuse box since they changed them in '90 due to the airbag. Easiest thing to do is leave the metal frame attached and just swap shells.

    Tremclad Paint

More reading here from the guy that posted it on the Mopar boards http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=159142 From what I gather Tremclad is a rustoleum product sold in Canada. The US version is sold under the rustoleum label.

    Quick question on fan controllers

That might help :) It doesn't have any model numbers/name on it anywhere but I'm almost positive it's not a JY fan. Looking through Summit it looks just like a Flex-a-lite. About 17'' diameter, straight blades, two wires so just off and high speed as the only settings.

    Quick question on fan controllers

Ok please save your bashing because I know my current set up is wrong, it is being addressed now. My car came with an electric fan and the PO had it wired directly to a toggle, yeah, no relay or anything. So anyway it's worked like this for a year with no problems...until yesterday. I have a...

    Pics of my "new" notchback

The dash emblem came on the '90 models so that is an add on. It is also too far to the left but still looks okay. Car was painted at some point too it looks like but the person you got it from probably told you that. Looks nice, what are your plans?

    balljoints

I got Moog replacements from Advance and asked for BJ for a '93 model. Supposedly they changed designs to match the sn95 style. With the new ones I did not need to use a spacer if that is your goal.

    Gauge Cluster help....

What year model did the new cluster come from? Your car has to use a cluster from an 87-89 model. If you go with a 90-93 cluster you need to rewire it for the the gauges to work properly. And a quick way to tell year model of the cluster if you don't know. 87-89 cluster has a greenish circuit...

I NEED YOUR HELP...OHIO WONT LET ME DRIVE MY FOX

Yeah the PO box won't work, tried it. In Georgia we don't have the option of classic plates on a car as new as the 87+ Fox cars. We do however have an option were if you prove you spent a certain amount of money to try and fix the problem they will tag you for the year. I think it's $400...
