    Turbo? Supercharger?

Vortech...hands down the better choice for a fun street car/occasional track usage.

I Want To Be Like Groverdill. Give Me Your Thoughts

I'm with Nic...you know my preference. Both cars are cool and have curb appeal and "unique" factors. But the 86's have more aesthetically pleasing lines to me. The interior, the body lines(without the aero nose-just looks cleaner to me),the color is also better imo. If it truly is going to just...

It sucks for a few days but after that mine was pretty much ok. Have to take it easy for awhile though. Don't get over ambitious. Good luck!

The monster and you both will love the 3.31's. Congrats on the house and garage(s). Looks like a very nice place for you and the Mrs. And 30.00 biweekly?....that's nearly slavery prices! Then again you are in the south:rolleyes:

    Fox E303 Cam

Depends. You may need to replace the springs if the cam is too aggressive or the springs are already junk. Also you may need new pushrods(the above cams should use stock length).

You have some cute kids. As upsetting as I assume your divorce/etc is/was, happy for you to be able spend all the quality time with your children. You have some cute kids. The car looks awesome also. Congratulations on all of it.

    306 Turbo Or 357

1500$ for a complete shortblock? That includes pistons, rods, crank, rings, bearings and balancer-flywheel/flexplate? If so it's not a terrible price if quality parts were used. Fresh machined block alone usually brings about a 500$ price tag around here. As far as your budget...you need a bigger...

Nick's "lvndpst" Restoration (and Slight Modification) Thread

Yeah I ran an old car of mine (00 Camaro SS) up to 140+ once on a back road. I then thought the same thing you did. Haven't done it again. Track only for me from now on. Way too many variables on a highway/road etc

Well loosely defined street car lol. Not saying it can't or won't see the street. With the open exhaust etc it definitely would be an attention getter ;)

I'll take a guess...317rwhp and 363 rwtq because I like round numbers lol. I'd love to get a ride in one of these pd blown cars. I've been in a t trim car and a 76mm turbo (both had built motors 331-347's). I agree on the gears also fwiw

If it were a street car I'd be more skeptical about that location. Worried about heat soak from the exhaust etc but for what you're doing...why not?

Congrats Mike. This thing is going to be an animal. Can't wait to see how it performs. Also hope you and Jeff can have a heads up race sometime in the future. It would be so cool.
