Hey, what do y'all think of this?

I understand the history behind Grabber Blue, but OMG is it atrocious on these newer cars! That's because Ford is too cheap to spend a bit more money and have the stripes painted on! I'd like to know who's decision that was and what the reasoning was behind it! Have the stripes as a factory...

    A little help!

Here is a friend's car. She has the black chrome FR500 wheels (18x9 with 275/40 & 18x10 with 285/40)and the FRPP K springs (1.5"): We have the same exact springs, wheels and front tire size, but my back tire is a bit taller than hers... It definitely makes for a hot combo!

Remote Trunk Latch Button install / Trunk strut questions

+1000000000000000000000! That is the thread a buddy of mine did in his and then later installed it in mine:nice: Also, as mentioned before, the trunk lids don't raise up on their own.

    Please Help me guys!!!

The wheel istself isn't horrible as it is very similar in design as one of the Shelby wheels:nice: There is however way too much drop in that Stang! I also agree the wheels/car would look better with meatier tires (of course I'm totally biased when it comes to that:D)

    what's your "my color"?

Mine is also similar to darkfire's:nice: I can't recall the # for it as it's been set to that for about two years now. I did have it an orangish color, but that only lasted a few nights! I then switched to a purplish color which was cool for a bit. Then I switched it to a deep green which was...

    vinyl stripes or painted stripes

Painted is the best way IF you know that is the color and design you want long term! I wanted both the Le Mans stripes and rocker stripes on mine. I started off with vinyl rocker stripes by themselves as they would be cheaper and easier for self install. After putting them on, I thought that it...

Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs for 08 GT

As long as the 18" tire height is near the same as the 17" tire, you'll be fine! We put those springs on a buddy's car with the 17" wheels. He didn't have it long enough to find out what size tires he could've put on it. It sure sits really low in the back! For comparison (full...

    2 questions..

With a 91 or 93 octane tune, CAI it would (at the crank)! I've seen several manual cars put down high 290s to nearly 310 RWHP with only 93 tune, CAI and mufflers:nice: Factor in an average 14% drive train loss and you're up in the 340-350 range! Also, the original Shelby GT350 Stangs didn't...

    Painted my brake calipers

Not sure what exactly makes "caliper paint" work but I'm sure most high temp paints will work. You don't have to remove the caliper, but it will make it easier to paint unless you can get your car up on a lift so you're not laying on your back to do the underside of the caliper.

Nice ride, Peaky85:nice: Alloy sure is difficult to photograph and with the silver stripes, it makes your car really look black.
