    You really have to look at the cost difference, 01 cobras are still going for $20k+ for good low milage ones. 01 GT's are $12-14k... the times posted above are right on.

    hooker long tubes and magnaflow o/r x pipe??

    You need a short x pipe to match the long tube headers. The advantage of the Hooker headers is you can drop the tranny without removing a header. All other LT headers you have to remove one header to drop the tranny. BBK's are good but you will face the above problem.

    make sure you replace that fuel pump because if it goes out you'll have problems...like its been said, its not made to work with our returnless fuel system

    sportsmans with cats and tail pipes are pretty quiet... I had them on my 03 with a prochamber and dumps and it sounded sweet, was pretty loud and distinct. then i put LT's and O/R X pipe and it was the sweetest sounding thing ever. I have the pro-streets going on tonight on the Bullitt...

    99 cobra at the track...need advice

    never driven a car at the track with IRS but all mod motors need to be reved... slip the clutch at high rpms....like 4000+ remember, SOME tire spin is better than bogging...

    are the 04 cobra and 99 and up gts body parys comaptable?

    the 03 cobra hood and bumper are different...they cant be on different cars without trimming/adjustments unless paired together the rest are compatible

    not really...it makes things equal...because in october in the north people are running at 0-500 DA and down in texas we're still running at 2000-2500 DA so you cant really compare times. But if you both correct times you can make good comparisons. Also its a lot easier to compare times...

    HTS is what it used to be coated with, now it is durablack coated. my guess is the durablack is better since it is a newer design.

    well lets see, in the summer we have 3000' DA's most days...In january most days are 0-500' DA.... when will my car run faster? that has to be one of the dumbest comments I've read in a while

    i know people can run 13's in stock GT's....I did with mine... I just thought a 13.81 was impressive, I'd just like to know the details on the run; thats all.

    no way... slicks will hit the rear end way harder than drag radials...drag radials have more tendency to spin which will keep the rear safe. But a set of slicks will hook and take an axle fairly easily.

    how do you figure? I've had an 03 GT and it never touched 99.8 mph stock even in MUCH better weather. A bullitt will put down on average 10-15 more rwhp than a GT. not to mention the better torque curve...
