    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

Hope someone can help me out here. I was about to start splicing away, but when I looked at the wiring to the relay, there was a plain red wire, and a pink/black wire. I assumed I should splice into the pink/black wire, according to the info up top, but just wanted to check. So, do I splice into...

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

See, that is what I was thinking. Then my friend commented that in his town, most people that had their car stolen, somehow knew who stole the thing. I don't need a whole switch board as of yet, so I just bought one toggle switch. I am still undecided as to whether I should keep it underneath...

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

Haha, my ashtray door works as well. I planned on just putting the switch underneath the ashtray itself, and just lift it up everytime. Then my one friend mentioned how anyone that would get into my car would notice me doing that. So no I am not totally sure as to where I should put the switch.

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

I see what you guys are saying, thanks for the help. I just wanted to find out what you really meant, because I obviously wanted to try it to make sure that it worked properly. I know that the fuel pump shouldn't prime at all, but I just wanted to crank it to make sure it wouldn't start...

00 cobra engine in a fox?

There was no 2000 cobra, unless you are talking about the 5.4 in the cobra r. Don't know about the fit, but I am sure you would need all the accessories from that engine(unless you want to fab up brackets for everything like alt, a/c, power steering, etc).

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

I am not sure if I understand this. Why would it screw anything up with the ignition sequence? Wouldn't it be the same as if it just couldn't start anyway? It just wouldn't have fuel, therefore won't start. Could you explain to me how it would screw it up at all, not that I don't believe you, I...

    Steering Tilt Stock on GT???

Yes, I believe it changed in 90 when they first put in the air bags. This got rid of the tilt wheel.

    Piston To Valve Clearance

There is no way to know for sure whether you will have piston to valve clearance issues without checking it manually. The peak lift is not what you need to worry about. It is mainly the duration that may give you the problem. Do you have stock pistons? Having larger valves than what the walve...

    Confused About Exhaust

If you are replacing from the headers back, you do not just want to get the mufflers. Stock mufflers and tailpipes are 2.25 inches in diameter. Get a flowmaster catback which will be 2.5 inches in diameter. It comes with mufflers, tailpipes, and all hardware you need for install. There are...

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

Alright guys, I didn't have a chance to install it over the weekend, but I did get a switch for it. It is a 20 amp toggle switch, so it should be rated for more than enough current. Now, I know you say the relay is under the seat, but where exactly is it? Is it underneath the carpeting, or do I...

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

Thanks for the link. So all I need is a switch good for at least 5 amps, and a small amount of 16 or 18 guage wire? Well that sounds easy enough. I guess the hard part will be finding a good place to mount it...

    Fuel Pump Cut-off switch?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how I go about wiring in one of these. I want to add some security to my car. I should be able to find a good place for the toggle switch, but do not know what parts I need, or how to wire it. Could someone help me out with this? I would like to install it tomorrow...

Ready to do "complete" tune-up...bunch of questions...answer what you can...

Fuel filter: Very easy, only held on by two clips. You can relieve the pressure up at the schrader valve. If you don't know what that is, it is located on the passenger side fuel rail up in the engine bay near the alternator somewhere if I can recall. The valve looks the same as a tire valve...

Triax vs UPR vs Pro 5.0

I would pick the pro 5.0 out of them. I have one and it is great. You can shift very hard and fast annd not have to worry about missing a gear, or bending the shift fork(stops on it). I would recommend it.

    70 mm t-body on a stock 92' intake?

Actually, the opening in the upper is 63mm. You would need to open it up a bit then. The stock tb is 58mm, but the opening was larger. I thought I remember someone saying the stock egr plate is pretty big. Don't know the exact size, but I know that if it is not large enough, you could easily...

Comp XE270HR vs. FMS B303 cams.

I honestly cannot tell you whether that is a better cam or not, but that is the cam I have for my combo. I have the xe270hr-12, 1.7's to go with it(hope it fits), stock heads I am in the process of porting, and I will be getting an explorer intake. I don't really have any experience with either...

    Torque Boxes... battle boxes.. questions.

I've seen a bunch of pics of the lower reinforcements, but I don't think I have ever seen the uppers. Does anyone sell a kit that comes with upper and lower? Or does anyone know which brand is good for them?
