MY CAR WONT GO INTO REVERSE

yes shifting to 1st is preferable over 5th when you shift to reverse. In my haste, I put 5th gear instead of 1st...

you call that a vid? its a digital camera 15 fps slide show. I wish he took pictures of things we haven't seen. like the underside, trunk, foot pedal placement, etc. etc... letting the car take off like that is a slap in the face IMHO. Every picture he took I have already seen- be it from...

MY CAR WONT GO INTO REVERSE

make sure you do complete "double clutch" when you shift into reverse. Clutch in, shift to 1st, shift to neutral, clutch out completely, clutch in, shift to reverse and go. I find that helps then just shifting to 5th to reverse with the clutch in the whole time.

    Worth the Wait...

I have a feeling we won't be seeing a "SVT Mustang Cobra" anymore. We might be seeing a "SVT Mustang" and a "Ford/Shelby Cobra" 2-seat roadster though. If you think about it, the "SVT Mustang Cobra" name doesn't make sense. I never understood it. How can one car be named after two cars?

    Is a Aluminum Driveshaft Noisy???

try putting the harmonic damper (dogbone) back on and see if that helps. I don't see why a balanced aluminum driveshaft would be causing you problems unless there is something wrong with it.

    2005 Mustang Seat Comfort

i agree with you concerning the GT seats. they are adequately comfortable, just not engineered well. Especially for us 6+ footers.I think ford sacrificed comfort for retro looks at the time. the new 2005 GT seats will be an improvement. better thigh support, head seemingly matches up with the...

    2005 Mustang Prices

First of all, no one said a GT will start under 20,000 dollars. A V8 mustang will. 2nd of all, where is everyone getting these "prices"? no prices have been laid down yet. these are all magazine guesstimates... 3rd of all, when a speaker from ford in front of a national show says very...

    Will it have HID's?

hids are a luxury gimmick. they're better because they're brighter. duh. unfortunately this brightness blinds oncoming traffic. i have yet to see a hid system that just did not plain annoy me in traffic.

    Front Strut Problem

the modified MacPherson struts are just not ideal for lowering. Its hard to get rid of the extra NVH epecially on dips, bumps, and potholes. there is a reason why our stangs look like 4x4s stock.

    2005 GT ET's?

there are multitudes of stock 99-04 GTs that have gotten sub 14 sec times. it is not unusual at all. I am sure someone will eventually post a time slip. there is a huge difference between 13.4 and 13.9 time btw. a 1/2 second is a long time and it just grows exponentially the further down you go...
