    I got the kit from modern driveline. It looks a lot better than the mustang steve set up. I was going to go with the weld on quadrant design, but I became concerned about the cable wanting to ride out of the groove if the hole in the firewall wasnt pefectly inline.

    I just got my kit from Modern Driveline and it warns about possibly needing a longer brake push rod because of the firewall stiffener placed in between. It thought that i have seen an adjustable one somewhere. Id rather just get that than try to make mine longer. Any thoughts?

    Check out eBay for granada spindles if you want to do it as cheap as possible. If you do work yourself, its not a bad project. I think I have 450 total in my swap.

    Limited Slip or Lockers?

    I think the Detroit EZ Locker is similar to the Powertrax LockRite. I may be wrong, but over at FordMuscle.com they ran a 67 into the high 11s with an 8" 4.11 gears, a Lock Right and better 28 spline axles. It seemed to have taken a lot of abuse with no problems.

    Rear End Dilemma

    Of course they want to sell you a piece which means youll have to upgrade most all other parts(axles, housing, etc) I think it should be based more on the torque of the motor. It seems a 289 with 400hp would have more trouble breaking an 8, than a stock 460 with like 220hp.
