    check your coil and cap/rotor. Mine did the same dang thing and thats what it ended up being, but the car ran funny off and on before it died. That sensor sucks to change out, but I did it to mine, you just need a puller of some sort in order to get it out but be carefull!

    I would not suggest a Ford Motorsport HD unit at all. No offense to those who have it, but I had one and it blew the crap out of my tranny after a while because of the abrupt engagement. I would recommend a King Cobra with a McCleod disk, its good up to 500 HP. Sean

    Did you purge the air out of the engine/lines before taking it out? If not try getting the car up to operating temps, then stand there while revving it a little bit here and there and "burp" it. Keep filling up the radiator with water till it stops bubbling. This should take about 10-30 mins...

    Wacky tach, bad coil?

    My vote is that the coil is shot.. The same symptoms came up for me twice and both times it was the coil. Mine came on around 3500 once then at WOT it would feel like it hit a brick wall.
