Why is it that gas prices have to keep going up?

Its a good thing its getting warmer out and I can start riding the Triumph again. Prices have shot up $.25/gallon here (to $2.78 or so)and my Fucus has been returning disappointing mileage since I bought it. Its the first car that I've had that I can't even hit the EPA City mileage on a regular...

    Indecisive Car Decision

I'd go for the Audi. I had a Jetta wagon for awhile with the 1.8T/5spd and that car was a blast. The Audi would be great with the AWD, etc. Also, much more compatible with everyday driving, hauling, and taking passengers. BTW, the Audi is now a 2.0T with the rest of the VW/Audi cars...

Why bother with teh regular bolt-ons?

Yeah, I've got the video from that day with some of my runs. Sadly there were quite a few Cobras there that never broke into the 12's all day long and it was 39*F so they couldn't blame it on heatsoak.

where to buy a pair of 17" rims???

Go with V6 wheels. You won't be disappointed with the performance of the 15" drag radials.

Why bother with teh regular bolt-ons?

There were quite a few blown Stangs (including '03/'04 Cobras) that lost to my bolt-on GT. So you can have your blown Stang, be a crappy driver, and you still aren't going to win against those cars.

Finally got my new bumper painted/installed.

I love it in the pic that is a straight shot of the front end, but I don't like Bullitt wheels with Roush or Saleen parts.

finally put my old pi heads on ebay.

Though I'm not some big "Power Seller", I've sold over 100 items and have a feed back of 271. I've never shipped through Ebay. As far as costs, the fees have gone up a bit over the last couple years. That does suck a bit.

    Ordering 2nite, need opinion

C-Springs are/were wound by Eibach at least back in '03 or so. They may have long since changed suppliers, though. H&R Super Sports are nice because the rears aren't too stiff and you can still pull decent 60ft times.

    Who owns a motorcycle/street bike?

I have never paid for an "assembly fee". All bikes are shipped in crates and have to have some assembly done at the dealership. What did they charge you for that?

    Who owns a motorcycle/street bike?

Might want to pick up one of those foam donuts at the pharmacy to insure that no further damage is done to your rear. Thats not as bad as the guy that paid $16k for a GSXR600 on Sportbikes.net, but still not good. In '01 the MSRP was actually higher at $3295, we got my wife's for $2995 + a...

    fiberglass body parts

Depends on what it is. My Steeda hood I had on my '03 was smooth as a baby's arse. However, cheaper fiberglass parts may have small imperfections that will need to be smoothed out before paint, etc. Some parts may even be wavy. For instance, Harwood products are notorious for being wavy...

    Who owns a motorcycle/street bike?

If you paid $3000 out-the-door, then you did OK since the MSRP is $2999. Both of ours were new when we bought them, but now its kind of nice having them paid off and no monthly payment on a "toy" that can only be ridden about 6-7 months here in Indiana.

    Who owns a motorcycle/street bike?

My wife bought her EX250 in '01 and that bike is a blast. Its a great bike to start out on because its quicker than probably 90% of the cars on the road, but it is a very docile machine. Its a great commuter bike and many days, I will jump on it and ride it to work instead of my Triumph for...

    List of Companies to Avoid

Ronnie Diaz Motorsports- I don't know if he has ever tried to sell parts again, but many people got burnt by Ronnie. I got my parts in a timely manner and at a great price, but shortly after my order the complaints started rolling in here on Stangnet. Shannon Wheeler (aka SDWheeler...
