grover - Better not be anything faster than yours... :D I already have a hard time keeping up with the Jetta. Those 2.0 are powerful little engines, and everytime I stop for gas (which is often) she blows right by.:bang:

I'll be there, probably the wife too. She has the need to get a mustang of her own:D , so we need to look around and figure out exactly what she likes.

Went bike shopping, and came home with..

They are selling(asking) for as low as 19000 right now after looking on autotrader. The reason the prices are still high is because they are still new, next year the market will be flooded with them and the prices will drop. The fact that they were asking $4500 over MSRP and were willing to...

I hope you save enough on gas that you will offset the $7500 you will lose when you decide to sell it next year.:nonono:

    Mustang Roundup 2007

We should catch an early ferry and have breakfast on the other side. We could just jump in the back of one of the first groups when we hear the ferry rumble in. Should cut down on the mayhem and I have no desrie to sit in a two hour line of cars.

    buying cars with missing titles

This is for WA but I am sure the process for other states will be close to the same. The best bet would be to call the DOL in WA and FL to get the most current and correct info. http://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/replacetitle.html

    Mustang Roundup 2007

The story I heard was that there was going to be two routes. One will include the ferry ride, probably for the older corwd who don't get out much:D , and the other route would make the drive around for us who don't mind putting some miles on our cars and driving them like they should be driven.

    95 compared to 96 performance

Check the rear sway bar mounts, it is very common for these to be cracked or broken on these cars. The supension should be the same for both these cars, but bad shocks, worn bushing or any other mechanical problems can make a huge difference in ride and handling.

A huge "thank you" to myfordsfly and Marysville Speed & Custom

I would like to add my thanks to all the guys that were out working on a saturday to put this on for the club. All were very friendly and helpful, giving advice and thoughts to each owner as the car was being dynoed. I was also a little disapointed in that my car was to lean to make a full pull...

Should I get out of my 96 cobra purchase?

BBK underdrive pullys, and perhaps others use a piggyback design on this car. We just finished pulling one off my friends car for the KenneBell install. This could be what you are looking at, does the belt run on the smaller inside pully. They due this to retain the factory balancer, and to...

sad sad day........ no more starbucks......:(

There is no such thing as a Starbucks franchise. They are all corporate owned or a liecensed stores, that still have to abide by all Starbucks policies and standards. If the employees in the store are not Fred Meyer employees then it is a corporate run store. I can see Fred Meyer not wanting...

What are the best "bang for the buck" bolt ons for the 96-98 Cobras?

Whatever you do, stay away from JBA headers. From some reason they do not use studs in the exhaust flange. If you ever need to take the exhaust off it is pain to get to the back side of the bolts.

    96 Cobra What Blower?

I know what my car feels like with the 1.5 and can only imagine what a 2.1 would be like on a built motor with the boost turned up. When funds allow I will upgrade to the older style 2.0 or 2.2 with a bypass and then really have some fun.:D To answer the questions as to what blower KB is a...

    Any differences between 1996-1998 Cobras?

When I bought my Cobra new in Jan. of '96 it had 2.5 inch stock tailpipes (maybe I can dig them out of the garage with the stock mufflers), and you could always pick out the 97-98 by the larger pipes. I see you are from Canada, maybe they were are all the same in metric. :D

    Any differences between 1996-1998 Cobras?

97-98 also had larger tailpipes then the 96. I think the center console also changed in 98 to the cup holders and no ashtray.
