Call Ed Curtis at TFI. A custom cam isn't going too cost much more and the performance difference will be worth it.

I really hope you finish up with getting the driveline angle adjusted correctly with the upper control arms. I think if we get two of us to fix the vibration at high speed this way, we can put the "TKO vibration problems" to rest, and people will have the answer to this that so many seem to...
Here is some more info on drivline angle and vibrations.
Operating Angle
Operating angles in a driveshaft are the angles between the pinion, driveshaft and transmission centerlines. The optimal angle for any driveshaft to run at is 0 degrees, where many vibrational and frictional problems...
Did the steering issue just start with the a/c problem? If so, it was because of the belt slipping when the a/c compresser locked up and smoking the belt.
Call Jim or Monty at JMS and tell them your problem. It sounds to me like the chip isn't installed properly. Are you SURE all the coating was cleaned off the connection and scotch brited to get a positive connection?
I think you should sell those"crappy cast iron heads" to me real cheap and buy some name brand aluminum ones that everybody will approve of.
If it were me ,I'd work the Roush heads and put them back on.They are real good heads when used on the right application. I have one set on my 354...
What have you done with the stock fuel filter? Has it been changed latley?
It seems you have plenty of pump and injector. but you my be restricted at the filter, (inline above rear axle)
as much as you think it is a fuel problem it may be a no2 problem also. Check the window switch,also...
There are no bare wires at the head unit. Everything plugs into it. I only have three plugs going into it,the large 8 pin, the small 8 pin with gray cover, and the 6 pin from the cd player. what is the small 2 pin at the bottom right corner for? And is there a seperate ground wire that goes to...
Yes , they bypassed the amps with the blaupunkt, but I unplugged it and plugged the mach 460 back in. i had to undo the aftermarket adapter and plug the factory harness back in, along with the 8 pin small square plug with the gray cover on it. The 460 head unit has a small 2 pin socket under the...
I don't know about luck, but you thought enough to put TWO 1/2" spacers in it. Sound like you got it up as high as it would go. did you "massage" the tunnel any to get it that high? apperently you got it up high enough to get the angles close, and got away without the vibrations.:nice:
If your driving and you think you here it leaking try a down shift and let the motor slow it down ,giving it no gas. Most times if it is an exhaust leak, especially at the header ,you will get a popping or slight backfire through the exhaust. If it does you'll know for sure it's a leak.:SNSign:
You can DIY with a rental tool from Auto zone or have a shop do it. It blows air in the cylinder and see where it comes out at. normal leak is 5-7%.It will show wether its in the bottom or top end. Sell the KB and buy a stroker shortblock and go N/A .You'll be a happy camper again. You can always...
I bought a kit off e-bay with new commpresser, dryer, orifice tube and all new O-rings for less than 300. I'm with mo-dingo, change the dryer. should be able to get a shop to do it for 6-700, or DIY and get it vacumed and charged at a shop for 50-75.
