    Do you know where one is? If so, I would buy now! My local dealer had a white and blue one two weeks ago, and they sold on the same weekend and it was the last ones for them. They have two 05's ordered already and their not even a big dealer.

    Well I just took my baby to the dealer a while ago and Im sweating bullits. Hope this fixes the tranny. Also getting front end alignment since I installed the springs. :nice:

    No pushrods. :D Oh and the 5 speeds have forged steel cranks & the automatics are cast. Well my local dealer sold his last and final Mach 1's :nice:

    This ugly tank of a thing is there to satisfy the goverments limits on intake noise, so I have read. I plugged mine with a rubber plug from Lowes and didnt notice any change, noise or performance. Only reason I did it was to get rid of the unsightly mess. But now I have the Street Smarts...

    Yea, these late models wheel wells is so damn big the 18's helps fill them along with a 1" drop in the springs. Much more aggressive looking. :nice:

    Thanks for the good words JayDub and Kurt2002 :spot: Glad the restrictor plate is doing okay. I know I like mine. What a cheap way to fix a problem. Gotta give the credit to Mach1Canuck. If he hadn't posted this fix I would still be stuck with the damn hanging rpms.

    If memory serves me right I believe they require at least 91 octane. Its due to the 10:1 compression :) Dont forget about the insurance costs. Since these cars have the "R" in the vin, their gonna hit your harder. Im having to pay $400 for 6 months and Im 50 and no tickets in YEARS! Dennis

    The K&N that came with this cai is model number RF-1015. Here is the measurements on K&N's website. K&N link here Inside flange diameter is 4" 7" in length tapered cone It uses a worm screw to hold it on. Do you know the model of yours?
