    I pulled out the spout, hooked up the timing light to the 1st cylinder, started the engine, let it warm up a little, and fired the light at the HB. The HB didn't read anything so I adjusted the timing light to read it [one of those snap-on ones] and it read 180.

    I finally got my intake on right. No check engine light and it seems to be idling fine. When I rev the car and let off the gas it seems to whistle really loud though.. I have no idea what it is... Any ideas? :shrug:

    Both are extremely flamable... I get bored at work sometimes and see which makes the best blow torch and chase my co-workers around with it... :flame:

    yep....i had to remove the whole intake cuz after i started it i noticed that it was there and I dropped a plug down the ****er... So I had to remove the whole intake to get that plug out. ...Trust me, that thing is plugged now. :eek:

    I just finished installing a Edelbrock RPM intake and now that I've started it I've noticed a Check Engine Light [CEL] and a rough idle then it stalls out. I also notice it having a loud whine or whistle after I rev the engine. Any ideas? I did forget where I left the timing, but I guess...

    I tried the magnet thing a bunch of times.. I currently have the intake off.. I poured water down a set of e7te heads i have sitting in the garage [down the same port] and it doesn't go to the valves.
