    just get the diff out of any truck 8.8 in a bone yard if you can find that cheaper. I have a 31 spline 8.8 carrier ready to drop into my car, it came out of a 2002 F-150. Now I just have to get some axles

    trust us he did not have the driver mod, well at least for that run. No matter how good you are you will have some bad passes Only other thing could be traction issues. If it was colder out he might not have been able to hook at all in any gear.. Even then he should have shot by you...

    :) in my opinion they are easier to work on then the old SBF.. none of the problems with water pump bolts breaking off in timing covers or oil leaks all over the place that we used to see with those.

    Modulars are simple to work on.. I think some guys get intimidated by timing two cams but it's so simple.. Once you do one you realize it's really easy

    Is the 18 month old gas still in the tank.. If so drain the tank, thats what I had to do to my car and it was only a year not a year and a half and my gas was really bad, hardly lit even holding a lighter to a puddle of it.
