    took 'em off too. the rings look dorky. looks alot better now plus my seat belt doesn't ride into the dam slit in the ring anymore and get stuck.

    boy this has to be about the 12 gas mileage thread i've seen in the last few months. yes, underdrives could pick-up a little mileage. i'd do the basics 1st like a tune-up (air and fuel filter, spark plugs, a synthetic oil change) and having proper air pressure in the tires.

    hmmm, i would expect bbk 1 5/8" long tubes to increase torque as part of where the 2.25" h-pipe was is now 1 5/8". i also would expect an other wise stock 4.6 gt getting a swap from the 2.25" h-pipe to a 2.5" h or x-pipe to lose some low end torque until additional mods raise the hp at the...

    gettin around 22mpg with a 5spd and 3.73's. my gas mileage suddenly dropped to 19mpg about 2 months ago changed the air filter and all is well. you should of just seen the thick coat of pollen on the filter. gotta love fl..

    Always low on oil!!!!

    about engine braking. sure i've done it and still do it on occassion but engine braking to save the brakes i don't understand. brakes are cheap compared to an engine so why save the brakes by stressing the engine and the transmission?
