    Nitto 555R vs. BFG DR's

I've had both and it's just like you read all the time the bfg's hook better but won't last as long, Id say the bfg's could last up to 6ooo miles

Lose The Rear Cats, Lose Torque.

Regarding emmissions .... I put cats on the car this past FALL - passed emissions 1st shot. AND I GAINED HP AND TORQUE. My exhaust was just TOO big and I was losing some power obviously. My NA numbers went from 307/308 to 315/316 -this is from scott's thread

Lose The Rear Cats, Lose Torque.

I don't agree, no offense, but I felt a loss of low end torque with my butt o meter when I installed long tubes and a catted h pipe and I was told that when I installed my cams that I loss some low end torque and it was replaced up top, this was observed by my tuner that had performed a tune...

    Tighten up the bottem end?

I would buy the parts from the person that is going to asemble the motor, so they stand behind the finished product. I strongly suggest vt engines or mph and I would just buy a shortblock, thats what I did and it was roughly double the price than just the parts.

Need advice on Sumitumo HTR Z 315's

If you do a lot of driving and need good traction I would say the tire is going to get a lot more expensive, having a power adder you need a decent tire to get the power to the ground. Maybe someone else knows of a good tire for you. I would do a search as well, I know this has been asked many...

Need advice on Sumitumo HTR Z 315's

I think they suck, at least compared to a drag radial. I have had nitto and bfg dr's they don't have any traction what so ever, there is a reason they have been marked down so much...jmo

right now it is still stock, even the converter. I did add a cooler and My tuner adjusted the line pressure, shift points, and torque converter lockup with the chip. It breaks the wheels loose on all shifts at wot, without the drag radials on. I was planning on doing the j-mod soon.

Why wont deep dish work on IRS?

yea, the nittos are not a very wide tire, compared to the bfg 315's and the bolt gets closer when unloading the suspension, the offset on the fr500's may be better than the afs wheels. just be prepared when you put them on the car if it is needed.

Why wont deep dish work on IRS?

good advise. I believe the bolt is closest with the suspension not loaded, and a side note, I was told if the bolt does have to be removed in the future a nut could be welded on and it would make it very easy if a wrench did not work with the shaved bolt head - so not to worry ! Good luck
