    Yea, without using torches. I simply knocked out the pin, then used a wood hole saw to get most of it out then used a brush drill bit that was the same size. Cleaned it up in a jiffy. I believe I posted a thread about it. Or pm me and I can email you some pics of what I used, I document...

    On one side, I managed to pound it out a bit, then stuck a 10mm deep socket in there and laid into it with the air chisel with a hammer head. That's when I cut the other side off. Never again will I mess around. Lol Bolts from ford were 59 bucks for 4 Patience vs dollars haha

    Btw, its because the bolt has rusted to the inner sleeve.

    Seriously, cut em off and save the aggravatio.n. if ford doesn't have the bolts in stock, find a suspension parts store to match one up. They're a high grade bolt so a regular won't do.

    No, it's not overkill, it has a proper detergent in it so it won't harm anything if not "needed". I see alot of extended drain intervals, and deal with a ton of race applications..these especially are good candidates for a flush...but hey, that isn't to say regular stop and go driving in...

    I have a second so ill give you a break down This is how I do it: Remove old filter, thus draining about 10% of the oil. Replace with new cheapy filter. Pour engine flush into engine , careful not to overfill and topup if needed. (be sure to start car to fill new filter before you do...

    I use Amsoil engine flush before every change, in every motor I do. It works great and won't damage anything or break down oil additives while being run through. Try www.canadasynthetics.ca or Amsoil for more info, or pm me if you have some questions. I go through a case per week at a minimum.

    2V PRICES IN 5 YEARS?????

    Intersting thread, I've wondered this myself as I pour cash into my 00 2v. With the newer ones out and only getting faster, it'll be hard to even regain some that was put in. Spend 20-25k including the car and you're still fighting to beat a stock new mustang.
