Lowering Springs for a 4 cyl.

I know some SVO guys use them for a slight drop, so that wouldn't make sense..

Lowering Springs for a 4 cyl.

If you lower a fox body by much more than an inch, you're likely to ruin the geometry, which will have an adverse affect on handling. Something to keep in mind. Why does everyone like the Motorsport C? What's the difference between the B and C springs?

    1979 tailights

lol, they're from a Mustang, so I should think so. Example:

85 Merc Capri McClaren RS turbo.Anyone know anything about these?

Yes, all of Ford's RWD turbocharged cars at the time used the same 2.3L in different states of tune.

    turbo swap/options-svo

I test drove an SVO that was supposedly stock except for exhaust and a hybrid. Once you got into the boost, it was fast as hell. The gauge never even read above 12psi or so and it was still quite a bit faster than my stock SVO at 16psi.

    turbo swap/options-svo

I think the T3 is good to about 260hp before you'll want to swap. But I'm not the guru.

    Is IRS a dealbreaker?

Not having IRS on the GT is definitely a deal breaker for me. It's completely unacceptable these days to have a solid axle, considering what else you can buy for the same price.

    95 3.8 to 2.3 turbo swap

The SN95 is too heavy for a 2.3L IMO. Even the SVO is borderline too heavy for a 2.3L as far as I'm concerned..

Which engine you rather have in the next Mach 1/ BOSS?

Does anyone have actual weights or is this all speculation? Either way, the Boss needs a small, light, high(er) revving V8, and the Mach needs a big torque monster, handling be damned.

    2005 will have IRS option

That's one hell of a misleading title you put on this thread.

95 gt vs. slightly modded Svo

Sure, they can be quick, but that's not really the point. The SVO was made to be a true driver's car. The articulated seats, Hurst shifter, big brakes, Koni shocks, wider track, and repositioned pedals are all there for a reason...and it's not to beat a 5.0 from a stoplight.

    4 cyl dual exaust

I see you're backtracking now. Your claim was that a dual system is more restrictive than a single, but when I use the example of the biggest single system you'd want and how a dual system can be just as good, your answer is "must is always be about hp gains?" :rlaugh: I pointed it out...

    4 cyl dual exaust

First of all, a few spelling errors are ok, but it's DUAL, not DUEL. The pipes aren't fighting each other!! Second, there is no measurable difference between dual 2.5" pipes and a single 3" pipe until you get into massive horsepower...I'm guessing here, but probably over 350hp. And third...

    4 cyl dual exaust

The general consensus seems to be that there is NO noticeable difference in power between a dual and single exhaust on a 2.3T. Having duals looks better to most people, and it also gives you extra clearance because of the smaller diameter pipe, which is important if the car is lowered.

Making what May be my Goodbye for a while post. Life sucks sometimes.

That sucks man, my heart goes out to you. My girl left me about 6 months ago and it still hurts, but life goes on. Everything was going pretty well, and I came home one day, and the first thing she said was that she didn't love me anymore. WTF?! Sometimes it's best to not even...
