    You're comparing a beautiful pace car to beat up SVOs. :stick: A similar SVO would sell for over $10k. A "zero mile" SVO will sell for $15,000+.

    That price is insane. First of all, it's used, and second, it will only work with the SVO lower wing. I suppose you could hack it together with an LX wing, but it would look stupid. I've actually thought about writing to a few companies to make repro wings. I think they would sell pretty...

    I'm starting to wonder if Ford is making the preproduction model more visible to the public on purpose to add to the hype and anticipation. Obviously, cars need to be tested before their release, but I've never heard of any other American car with this many sightings before the release.

    I can't think of a situation where you'd *have* to rotate the intake, it's just better for some setups.

    Problem is, there's not many of us Mustang guys who prefer clean styling. Thankfully, the '05 doesn't have any tacky scoops/ducts/etc except the wing (that can be deleted), but I bet they are coming soon...

    Love the new design but..........

    I haven't read this entire thread, but apparently I haven't said it enough: it is difficult, if not impossible, to judge a vehicle's aerodynamics based on pictures of the car. Some of the most aerodynamic vehicles on the road are boxy looking sedans.

    It depends on what you value the most. The overall performance of the STi is greater than that of the Cobra, and it also costs less. But if you care more about the hp number, the Cobra is a better value for you.

    Good call, but I could probably step inside the front of the engine compartment with my 2.3L, and I've never seen a 5.0 with that much room up front...

    I've heard that a carbed 302 with aluminum heads is lighter than a stock 2.3T. That's not really important since it's not a stock vs. stock comparison, and who wants to run a carb? But I thought it was interesting. Even if it's true, all the extra space in the front of my engine compartment...

    The Cobra name isn't all that important to me, especially since it used to be little more than a sticker package. The name with real importance is SVT.

    The C6 also has a longer wheelbase than the C5, but is smaller overall. :nice:
