    I changed my pads and rotors all around and didn't have the same problem. You did right but just c-clamping the pistons back in.....however I think either the front or rears (don't remember which) need a special tool to twist while pressing in. hopefully you didn't damage the cylinder

    Procharger problems?

    I've personally only had 1 problem in 2 1/2 years. It was leaking along the bottom seal, however it was still under warranty and I shipped it back to em. Just keep your factory tensioner and belt handy in case you have to switch back to stock.

    Why not try to get a fox body stang? if you can find one that hasn't been abused, you should be able to get a GT for around 4500 and still have some extra money for mods

    I've tried pressing the front pistons and couldn't get it without rotating in... like they said above, you'll be good with the same pads, but you wouldn't have been able to put new pads on and fit it all back on the rotor without doing something right

    you're almost better off to try contacting the previous owners and talk to them. I had the benefit of being a cop and being able to run the VIN on my car before buying. The previous owner didn't have any wrecks or speeding tickets, so I was good with it

    Why do you have to take it somewhere to have the simple stuff done? Go to autozone and buy the parts, while you're there, get some ramps and wrenches (if you don't already have em). Crappy mileage is bad enough, but paying somebody to do the work for you is worse.

    WTF.......after all I've done and I'm still getting 28 mpg? What are you all doing? I can stomp most cars on the road and get better mileage than them. Dude, check your air filter and O2 sensors.......they'll kill your MPG's

    twist the knob off pull out the plastic panel from the dash that is below the radio pull the whole thing off the top of the shifter there are two bolts that hold the shifter onto the shift linkage, they come out no problem........should have you set

    also, since you've cleaned and re-oiled the air filter......get some electrical contact cleaner spray from an auto parts place and clean the contact inside the MAF. That may have gotten oil on it, causing the engine to run like poo, possibly fouling your plugs too

    just wait a while......apparently a eaton style blower is in the works for newer 3.8's......on demand boost and reliability in one but you'd probably be looking around 270-300 hp at the wheels after getting blown with around 11 psi boost
