    Quick Paint Questions....

    Your intake won't get hotter than your engine runs. Eg. 160-190 degrees. I doubt that it would ever get to 190 anyways. It has air running through it. You'd be fine with 300 degree paint. Or even car paint.

    I think your wrong there. I'm showing different part numbers for the roller's springs and the slider's springs. Roller cams ALWAYS have higher pressure springs than a slider or flat tappet cam. look it up.

    While your changing the Oil pressure switch, do this to check your gauge: turn the key on to run then take the wire off of the oil sending switch and ground it to a body or engine part. This will make the gauge say it has maximum oil pressure. Make sure the gauge moves all the way up.

    Simple. Before you pull your old cam out, get a dial indicator and measure your valve travel. Put a degree wheel on your crank and record the intake and exhaust events using both the degree wheel and the dial indicator.

    TALLER tires lower your rpm. RPM is related to gas milage. Low RPM = good gas milage. but here's the problem. a 2.3 doesn't have enough torque to pull a car along at 70 mph and 2,000 rpm.

    Turbo Fuel Mileage

    My FourBanger gets ~ 24 mpg driving 75 mph with 3.27 gears and 265/50/15 tires. It can get probably close to 30 mpg if I could just drive 65 mph, but that's not gona happen.
