    I Seafoamed the Mach two weeks back. I actually forgot to turn the car off for 5 minutes after dumping in a half can. Took the car out and ripped on it.. pretty good sized bomb came out. My girl was in the car too and sunk in her seat with embarrasment. :D

    I've never been tested for this before. I doubt I'd have any trouble with measly flowmasters, but it's just one more reason for me to dislike this state. Pretty soon there will be horsepower restrictions too. :rolleyes:

    I hear ya, but I did still have to pass the sniffer test. Basically my friend turned a blind eye to the simple engine mods I had. It makes me angry that you can fail smog by having illegal mods even while emitting "clean" exhaust, whereas an some smuck can be roaming around blowing black smoke...

    Based on your signature, you'll fail visual because of your off-road pipe, plenum, and cold-air intake. I was appalled when it happened to me. Refusing to waste time wrenching off/on plenums and such, I found a "friend." ;)

    Tremec 3650 TSB results

    I had the TSB done. When I got the car back it shifted pretty rough, and 3rd gear was grinding. I wasn't happy. A day later I checked the tranny fluid.. removing the fill plug, nearly a half quart of fluid came out of the tranny. :shock: I've read in a few places that Tremec now recommends...

    Nothing wrong here; the rings go on the top of the spring and the tubes slide onto the bottom. :nice:

    +1 for no stops; I took them out of my Tri-Ax. I left the stops in when I had the T45 though.

    I also had the TSB done. Initially had a new 3rd gear grind, but I was able to fix that by lowering the fluid level to 3.2 & changing to the cheapy fluid. When I pulled the fill plug off the tranny, A LOT of fluid poured out! :shock: Obviously it was overfilled. I'm with ya on the noise...

    4.10s and driveline vibes

    I ran the stock driveshaft with 4.10's. I experienced some vibes over 90, and some while coasting downhill. It was never enough vibration to bother me, but slightly noticeable nonetheless. An aluminum driveshaft would have helped, but I never got around to it.

    Springs without isolators

    Maintain at least one isolator on the front & back spring - preferrably the rear lower isolator, and the top front isolator. Noise wasn't an issue in my case, but running no isolators caused a harsh ride quality.
