    I'd go with the Strim, its very reliable, not overly loud, puts out good power, comes with a 3 year warrenty, and if you buy one now you get $100 back. In my opinion its the best for the money.

    Put in new coil spring isolators or grease the spings where they hit metal, they tend to make noise there. Also subframe connectors seem to help take creeks out of the body. And grease the control arm bushings and just about anything else that has a grease fitting and you should be good to go.

    I don't see why you couldn't eliminate it if you keep the lines secure. I believe its only function is for extra support. When I put stainless steel lines on mine, I think I left that out also.

    You can run a lot more than 12psi with 8.8 to one. You can run 12 psi with 9 to 1 without problems. As mentioned before, make sure you got enough fuel for it and don't run too much timing, and you'll be fine. My new combo is 14psi with 9.7 to one.

    Anyone using the Holley Systemax II intake?

    Its easier to install than the Trickflow intake? I hate taking that Holley off, taking 1/4 turns with a crows foot sux. I was thinking of replacing it with the Trickflow, maybe I wont now. I might look into the Vortech/Saleen intake, I heard that the upper will bolt to the Holley lower.

    I thought you ment the one in between the rails. The one from the fenderwell to the fuel rail should be metal with rubber around it if I remember right. Is the line actually damaged or is it not clipped in all the way? Are you getting like a hissing noise when you turn the key on?

    I could be wrong, but if the rubber lines are leaking between the rails, I dont think its fixable. You may have to get a new rail. But that would definately cause your problem.

    Definately check your fuel pressure, turn the KOEO and see if it goes to about 40psi and holds that. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a bad fuel pressure regualor. It would start then immediately die out. The fuel pressure would jump right up to 40 psi and then start bleeding off.

    One more thing, does the pulley on the supercharger spin freely? If not thats definately your problem, and that would explain your belt slipping and the engine stuggling to run. When mine went, I could bearly turn the pulley by hand.
