    i know that doesn't mean just turn it 90 degrees. that was the first position i tried because of the limited clearance between the mass air and the air intake, and it ran great so i left it since i dont really have any way to test it other than by how it sounds and feels when im driving.

    i finally got a chance to put the new mass air on and try clocking it. i turned it 90 degrees, started it up and it ran just like it did with the stock mass air if not better. thanks for all the help.
