    HELP!!!!!!!

The silicone will definitely get pushed out when your car gets up to operating temperature. You should pull the radiator and bring it to a shop to get repaired. If you are feeling really cheap, a little JB Weld would probably fix it for a while.

    65mph + = bad..why

For future reference, it is always a good idea to check the driveshaft bolts to make sure they're tight. Also a good idea to check the u-joints and make sure they aren't loose.

how to hit 400hp on a fox stang

400hp is definitely achievable...although the "streetability" will be limited. Check out this article: http://www.mustangandfords.com/techarticles/28898/

GT40P heads, Cobra intake, full exhaust, C&L MAF- only 196.70 RWHP on DYNO!!!!!- HELP

The computer can change the injector's pulse width, but can't really change your fuel rail pressure. Many people find extra hp by installing/tweaking an afpr; and even if it is not the source of your problem, it will be a neccessity down the road if you want to do more modifications. Also...

Oil leaking? most common problem areas please!!

Small block fords are also notorious for leaking oil from the rear of the intake. Worth checking it out as long as you're in there.

Aftermarket Carb Worth it on A Mostly Stock 85?

A very easy way to see if that carb is holding you back is to simply hook up a vaccum guage and see if you have any intake manifold vaccum at WOT. Theoretically, if your carb is large enough your intake manifold vaccum should be zero at WOT. If you are still running factory pieces, I would...

    replacing front control arm bushings

Lately I have been noticing a "clunk" in my front end whever I hit large bumps, so this past weekend I jacked up my car to investigate. Sure enough, the rear bushing on the driver side front control arm is shot; I can actually see the gap around the bolt where the rubber bushing used to be. Is...

    funky oil pressure

It is certainly worth you time to try hooking up a different guage before you start replacing any big-ticket items. I find it very odd that your engine would run that much oil pressure while cold and zero when warm...especially with 10w-30. I think you should get a second opinion with a...

    Engine making ticking nosie.

I know you say you have retorqued your rocker arms, but have you actually verified that your valve lash is reasonable? Depending on what kind of rocker arm mounting system you have installed, simply retorquing them may or may not fix your problem. You may have a collapsed lifter; spin your...

    Spintechs or Dynomax Bullets

Did you check out the spintech thread in this forum? Nice soundclip of spintech side exit exhaust: http://www.peghead.com/wfo-racing/Spintech01.wmv Lot more of a raspy, chambered sound than the bullets; which sounds considerably better IMHO.

    Spintech Side Exhaust - Installed

Man that thing sounds mean. I once installed a set of flowtech long tube headers on an F250 that had a 302 in it...ran two high-flow cats (no muffers) with side exit pipes and flared tips similar to those on the spintech system. It had a very similar sound although slightly louder. By the...

    Axle Leak!?!?

I would recommend that you replace the brake shoes if they were exposed to gear oil, or at least do a very good job cleaning them & the drum with brake cleaner. If you don't that brake will be very grabby.

    carb gurus-cmon in

Normallly if poor off-line response is actually carburetor related, it is due to the accelerator pump. There are many different size nozzles available for your holley; some for a strong quick shot of fuel, others provide a smaller shot of fuel over more time. The other thing than can cause...

Drum Stuck - Is there a drum puller?

I have a huge gear puller that I use to remove seized drums. I'm sure you can rent one somewhere. Once you do that, the drum is definitely comming off; although it might be in several pieces if it is stuck real bad.

    Leaking tank, from where?

Tanks are cheap, I bought mine for $90 at a local parts store. With the current price of fuel you'd pay for the tank in no time; plus your chances of catching on fire would be greatly reduced.

    Real *POLL*

I would go with the R/T, it is definitely a true "muscle car". My neighbor has a naturally aspirated '69 charger that run's high 9's in the quarter; the sick thing is that it weights 4200 lbs with the driver. I'll see about some pictures...

I ordered mine from the local ford dealership, they said it was no problem. Had it the next day actually.

getting rid of heater core or plugging it?

The core itself isn't very heavy. Unless your car sees constant strip duty and you need to shave another .01 second off your ET, I'd leave the heater core where it is. Perhaps at a later date you'll have another reason to take the console out, at which time you can change or remove the heater...
