What will control arms exactly do for me?

the control arms will keep the axle from twisting and moving from side to side. plus a good set will allow your car to launch better.. wise investment especially since you plan to go with a kb.

    Tri Ax shifter's question

the tri-ax is way better than stock. feels firmer and the springload is nice. when you get it its not like the stock shifter you dont need to guide the shifter into 3rd. its selfcentering and 2-3 upshift can be done with the palm of your hand pushing straight up.

    quick blower questions!

there are some factors to consider, intercooling, climate, elevation and compression. best bet with a paxton blower w/91 or 93 octane is about 10psi to be reliable and emissions friendly but also depends on the cars tune. you may get more boost and still be ok but most street cars stay at about...

    cats removed....

well to fix your problem you need an aftermarket mid-pipe. you lost power because the exhaust is swirling around in the empty chambers of the gutted cats and the 02 sensors arent able to funtion properly. you can get pipes with hi-flow cats or o/r pipes without them but need mil eliminators to...

    VR4 3000Gt????

as for the vr4 blakegt if he is modded he may be quick and very fast if he truly does have upgraded turbos. only vr4 in my area runs low 13's with basic bolt ons and more boost. so you may be in trouble. but the only way to really find out is to run it.

Any ideas for the next mod?????

it all depends on your plans for the car. if you only occasionaly run the car your suspension is ok. its not the best for racing but is comfortable and can get up your driveway. if your looking for the most hp then get a charger.

    gearing

a 4v loves plenty of gear in the 1/4 mile. mine is stock with 3.27 and it crosses the traps halfway into 3rd gear. i shift at 6000. his car would be in 4th like greenham64 says and that would be perfect. only thing i would be careful of is check out the car because whoever owns it must have been...

    road kill?????? gas mileage???

well if you did any damage you would have seen it by now. most of the undercarriage stuff is out the way so i doubt you did any major damage. as for me, well i have smashed a deer in my old 95 gt. crumpled up the radiator support, pushed the radiator/fan into my alternator and ripped my hood in...

12.5s, what do I need to do to get there?

if you seriously want to run 12's then the cheapest fastest route is nitrous. all motor will be expensive, you would need head work, cams and every bolt on possible to get there with a 2v street car for mid 12's.

    Advice for a 98 Cobra

well 4.11's would give you the acceleration you want and a good choice since you also went to a larger rim. as for other engine mods you need to decide on which route you plan to go if you want a turbo or a supercharger. a turbo is slightly more expensive and more involved to install. and would...

    exhaust questions

the long tubes would be the best bet and a shorter mid pipe is of course needed. the lt's offer way more torque. he can buy everything BBK at one time. as far as the motor it may not necessarily be unbolted from the mounts it may only need to be jacked up. but plan to undo the mounts and rock...

    1st time at the track

those mods you should get low 14's maybe even high 13. be carefull on the launch depending on your tires you may want to ease slightly into the gas of the line if you experience tire spin if not hammer the gas on the last amber and good luck. run a few time to gain the experience and have fun.

    1st time at the track

the only way you can launch is to foot brake at the line. bring up your rpms at the tree with one foot on the brake and the other on the gas. try about 2200 or as high as you can with out tire spin.
