I can't believe I'm gonna ask this but......

Just for the record, 2003' GT's are going for around $22,000~$24,000 and the Verts are $23,000~$26,000 here in Canada so I don't think the price they want for the Cobra is too out of line, I'm sure this time of year you could talk them down to 30ish. It could be tough to get what you want for...

    So i bought a bike...

As I've said before, it really depends on what bike you are racing against as well as who is riding it. A few years back, bikes were fairly quick but they had really bad aerodynamics so they would run out of steam trying to push themselves once the speeds increased so that a fast car could reel...

Painting my Garage floor (UPDATED with more pics PART 2)

Ya after I noticed the paint peeling I dug out the can and noticed down at the bottom of the label in small print it said "Not for use on garage floors" :bang: Yours sure looks amazing, I'm sure it will hold up as it's recommended for garage floors. Nice job!:nice:

buying new stang, drives like a beast w/ min mods

Yip for a basically stock GT spinning in 1st gear is normal, spinning all the way through 2nd and into 3rd with a car full of people seems a little odd. With 3.73's that would have you spinning the tires while travelling at over 60mph

    port and polish heads

Gains from PP heads depends on what other mods you have done to the car. If your stock exept for the PP heads you won't see too much of a gain but once you start running cams you'll notice a decent increase in HP.

    how fast are lt1's

I've raced against many LT1 powered TA's and Camaros over the years and yip, they scoot pretty good, stock vs stock it's a drivers race with 99'-up GT's. I picked up a 94' Z28 a couple of years ago that I found at the insurance auction [hail write-off] and turned it into my 1/4 mile car. With a...

    Best Radar out there

Yes good point, they do indeed use the Spectre here, but being that detectors are illegal MB, the police very rarely use the "instant on", most of the time they just leave their radar on, so I can pick them up several miles in advance and then I just switch the detector off until they go by. I...

    Best Radar out there

I have the Bel RX65, it works very well! Just to add a few things that I do that also help: 1) When on the highway, I always slow down when meeting oncoming traffic [you never know if one of the vehicles is a ghost car with "instant on" or a market PC in behind a semi] 2)I never speed in the...

    Changing a motor

You should be fine as everthing is rather straightforward. It will help if you label all the wires and vacuum hoses before you remove them so you will know where everything goes when you get the new engine in there.

    PI Heads

Also if you can, get the newer intake that has the aluminum crossover. Another good idea is to remember to tap said aluminum crossover for the 2nd temp sensor before you install the intake.

    Would Like some input

I like to measure camshaft end play with a dial indicator on the front of the cam gear and the slowly move the cam in and out. You can also use a feeler gauge and check for clearance between the front of the camshaft retaining plate and the back of the timing gear. Here is a link on...

    PI Heads

While you won't get quite the same gains with the PI cams/intake it certainly is an option worth looking into. The PI heads will give you an added bump in compression that's good for an extra 10 or so rwhp over just doing the PI intake/cams but it's alot cheaper and easier to do than the full...

    some quick HP for cheap

Off-road mid-pipe. I suppose you could just steal a nitrous kit and use the bit of money you have to pay off any witnesses :D
