Oil Pressure threads (do you use a sealer?)

I am replacing my oil pressure gauge and wanted to know what I should use to seal the threads to the extension and for the extension to the block? Can I use teflon tape (I assume it would be too hot for this) or Loctite or something else? Scott

NCSU is sweet (all though I am not a student)... my wife just graduated last spring from the MBA program @ state. Anyway, school is back in session and it is nice to drive around campus and see all the kids! :D Oh to be young again!

Changing your oil can get expensive!

I went to the store yesterday and picked up a case of Valvoline and a couple of filters. I can't belive it, but it set me back over $45.00... granted I did not shop around for price comparisons. But the darn case of oil was over $30.00! I can't belive I am spending over $20.00 each time I...

Shocks and leaf springs (how do they work together)

It's the Gas-a-just shocks... and it is at highway speeds that I am getting the spine compressed by two inches (:rlaugh:). I have a stock bench seat with no head rest as well... so that's not helping either. lol

Shocks and leaf springs (how do they work together)

I have new 4 1/2 leaf springs and the affordable KYB shocks in the rear on my 67 Mustang. The performance characteristics are dramatically improved over the stock 39 year old setup I replaced... I can take corners like never before. However the ride is significantly more harsh (I new this was...

2 years after graduating high school....

I got a BS in computer science... it tested my limits as I am no wizard when it comes to scholastics. I have succeded professionaly on my work habits and abilities to communicate and interact with people more so than my education. :D

2 years after graduating high school....

Best of luck! It took me 12 years to get my BS (a 4 year degree). I started straight out of high-school and had no direction... so after 4 years of not doing well I dropped out and joind the Marine Corps. Best thing I've ever done in my life (up to that point). I started over after I got out...
