    92 octane 14 deg. of timing (with the spout removed) and 38psi. Pretty standard.

    If you have 22psi before the regulator it has to be the pump. There is nothing else to look at.

    Ryan, I have a 90 5.0 5 speed listed over on bangerz. I have not been around much and dont know exactly what you want or your budget but I can do a few things to get it cheap for ya. Slap a set of pony's on it and swap out some of the other stuff.

    Rust happens. If you cant weld or paint your best option is to leave the LX wing on it. If we are just going by stuff like that half the GT's on this site are 4 bangers because of the lx tails.:rolleyes:

    If you are going to go pushrod buy a explorer engine to use as a base. If you go carbed you can get a couple hundred for the intake that you are not going to use, and you get better heads.     Ever seen torque box reinforcements that look like this?

    I got a set of those layin in my garage someplace. I got them seven years ago from a guy I bought a bunch of stuff from off of ebay. You are supposed to bolt them on with the nut from the control arm then weld it in place. The other end welds to your subframe connector. The theory didn't work...

    could these be the right headers?

    I couldn't tell ya for sure. The "p" headers come out further from the flange before the bends then the regular ones do, if thats any help to you.
