    Getting my Bassani Ehaust Tomorro

Bassani typically sounds better with an X as already mentioned, but regardless, Bassani always sounds kick ass. I'm running a Bassani X and catback. Due to a new rear suspension though, I decided to swap it out for a side exit. Hmm, what to buy, what to buy? My new Bassani side exit...

    side exhaust legal in nj???

Why would they not be emissions (sp?) compliant? It's no diferent from a regular catback pollution wise.

    MEMBER NAMES

Umm, wouldn't it be easier if it was an unwritten rule for everyone to put their first name in their sig? It seems like a lot of folks are already doing that. l l l v

Stangnet BS who else feels this way?

As I've always seen it, the 94-95 crowd is pretty tight so the "Who's going to FFW?" and "Check out my new potting soil!" threads are typically alright. But as someone said, it's the blatant attempt to up one's post count or downright stupid crap that has been locked down. I mean if you...

    Side Exhaust

Bassani sells a side exit set up for our cars. Within the next month or so, I plan to sell my Bassani qt catback (rear exit) and swap over to the side exit (for rear suspension clearance).

    Tired frontend.

What's your budget and how well do you want it to handle? If you're just trying to fix the stuff that's wrong, grab a set of 03 front control arms for about $160. They have new balljoints and stiffer bushings allready installed. It'll cost you that much to have someone else press new parts...

GTS owners, I have a question

Hmmm, it's been a couple years since I've had the door panel off, but I don't recall seeing it in there. To the best of my knowledge, it was a seperat set of wires that piggybacked off the lower door speaker, i.e. not part of the main harness. I wouldn't trust my memory of the subject however.

Deciding on Suspension: Panhard Bar vs. Watts Link

This came up in another thread and so I thought I'd share a little bit about some of the pros and cons of a Panhard Bar and a Watts Link. Panhard Bars vs. Watts Links A Panhard Bar (PHB) and Watts Link (WL) are simply suspension components that control the lateral (side to side) movement...

Got my new Evolution Motorsport suspension parts! (Another long post with pics)

 Ah yes, the infamous coilovers growing out of the driveway thread. Let me type up a detailed report about it and I'll post it. As far as where I learned about it, lots of book reading, lots of talking with road racers, lots of overnight flights with nothing to do but draw pictures with...

    shocks question

Again, that's absolutely true and a very good idea. Many a person has bent their CC plates due to their struts being too long and the car lowered too far.

Got my new Evolution Motorsport suspension parts! (Another long post with pics)

Yes, I’ll be doing the install myself. That’s the only way I could afford all of the stuff I’ve got. All told, the suspension consists of: Griggs tubular K-member Griggs tubular A-arms Griggs bumpsteer kit Griggs solid aluminum rack & pinion bushings Maximum Motorsports caster/camber...

Got my new Evolution Motorsport suspension parts! (Another long post with pics)

As many of you know, I'm into handling in a big way. Straight-line acceleration is sweet, don't get me wrong, but I just love the feeling of a slow entry into a fast sweeping turn and feeling the lateral G-forces trying to pull you out the window. Doing 130 and feeling the tires bite into the...

    T-5 to T-56

You need the tranny and bellhousing, new driveshaft, clutch fork, crossmember (you can modify your stock one), tranny mount adapter (for the viper spec), and shifter. You'll also need a 26 spline clutch disk if using the viper T56. See my thread here for more info...

    Roush Intake Dyno Numbers

That's true Vib and the fact that the motor has 115K on it is a very valid point. However, with this intake, I feel that "with the usual cam and head swap" I should be well ahead of the crowd. After this dyno, I was not left with a good feeling about that. I really wasn't expecting an...
