Looking at 95 GTS, what to expect?

They're just a rare Mustang option really. Basically, they're stripped of the eminities to save on the cost (and weight for the performance minded). Honestly though, the coolest thing about them is being a GTS and having thier own model. It isn't a stripped down GT, it's a GTS. In 96...

4 bolt caster camber plates... who has them and which ones?

Regardless of the claims, I sure wouldn't be the first one on the block to use aluminum CC plates, 4 bolt or not, with coilovers. Griggs are the exception, but they're more like an aluminum brick than a plate. I'm using and recomend MM for coilover applications.

Looking at 95 GTS, what to expect?

If it is as advertised, I'd say that's a smoking deal. Heck, once you gut the interior (since it's a track car), you can probably get half that money back.

Victor EFI on my S/C'd Cobra

Looks good! Getting it dyno'd anytime soon? What WB02 are you going with? I've been looking for a set myself (plan to install one in each bank).

    N/A Supra wants some...

Intimidate, yes. Sticky? Probably not. Most street tires get greasy when they get hot. If you do a tire burn, just do it for half a sec to warm and clean them. If you start to see smoke, you went too far.

    White Faced Gauges

Just take your time and be careful. If you're that uncomfortable doing it, take it to a shop and have them do it. The slip over gauge covers really look like crap.

Diaphragm is rated at 1400, 3-finger (what they called it, may be the long style) is rated at 1200.

Viper Spec T56 and parts finally arrived (DUW)

Update: When you can't get good info from the distributors, go straight to the manufacturer. McLeod just gave me a figure of 1400 hp for this clutch. Maybe the transmission is the weak link...

If that's the case, it isn't the clutch.

How many holes did you drill for your Transgo??? (pics inside)

Why not call Transgo and ask them?

    CLUTCH HELP NEEDED...I THINK...

Define, "lost all power." Did the engine rev up like the clutch pedal was pushed in or did it fall on it's face? Basically, without pushing in the clutch, did the motor increase or decrease the RPMs?

Viper Spec T56 and parts finally arrived (DUW)

Good question. It all depends on money and time. My next major purchase will be the rear suspension (see below) but after that I really need to get a paint job as the Atlantic Ocean is starting to show its tell-tale sign in a couple spots. Plus the last paint job (previous owner) was absolute...

Viper Spec T56 and parts finally arrived (DUW)

After it was all said and done, the total was just under $4500. The tranny and swap stuff was about $3200, the clutch was a little over $1000, and the rest was shipping and misc. parts. Actually, she has brown hair. The blonde is just a trick of the light. :) But once the motor goes in, I...

Viper Spec T56 and parts finally arrived (DUW)

Since NHRA legality isn’t a concern for me, I decided not to bother. I’ll probably be installing a kevlar scatter shield though, just in case. My wife still drives the car occasionally. For this reason, installing the switch is a condition that was laid out before buying the tranny...

Viper Spec T56 and parts finally arrived (DUW)

Originally, I was building it for opentracking and then started modding it to be legal for AI. But unfortunately, my current job won't allow me to be competitive for an entire season so I decided to hold off on that project for a few years. So then I decided to build it up for a few open road...

Viper Spec T56 and parts finally arrived (DUW)

Since the future motor is probably going to put out more power at an idle than the stock T5 can handle, I figured that a new transmission was definitely going to be needed. So what’s a guy to do? Call D & D Performance of course and order up a balanced and blueprinted Viper spec T56...
