    shifter problem

    Mines as quiet as the original shifter was. I bought the gasket from MustangTuning instead of using the RTV. You could try reappling the RTV thicker this time, maybe you squeezed enough out to get metal on metal where the shifter sits on the trans ?

    It just died!! HELP!!

    When you try to start it do all of the dash lights go through the start up sequence of turn on and then turn off like they normaly should? If they do it's likely the fuel pump died. If you have no dash indicators then as previously mentioned you probably lost the computer somehow.

    My car is a weekend car for me right now, hope to keep it that way if I can swing another cheap car payment this fall I will take the Mustang off the road for the winter. I only have 4098 miles so far...

    06 GT - Mach 1 - 03 Cobra

    06 GT because the refinement of the car will be a lot nicer to live with day in and day out. As others said before you can build the new gen car as easily as the Cobra or the Mach...the after market is on fire for the new cars.

    Anyone know where I can buy a locking gas cap for the 04 GT ? I think some azzmonkey was stealing gas from cars at the movie theater. :mad: These rising gas prices are going to cause more problems all the time....

    brake bleeding

    Go buy more brake fluid and keep bleeding, as long as air didnt get too far up the lines you should get a firm pedal. If you go through a big container of brake fluid and still no hard pedal then your gonna have to bleed the MS like the others said.

    Need more info....how many miles, mod's?. Misses when it's cold, hot or all the time? Missing is usually ignition parts giving up the ghost...loose plug, cracked plug insulator, bad COP, battery going to battery heaven.... If it's stumbling (different feel than missing) it could be a vacum...

    HELP! Stalling Out

    Ignition problem. If it was fuel related you'd notice it while accelerating. If the fuel pump is not noisy and you kept up on fuel filters then I'd guess you have an ignition module crapping out or some other ignition related problem. Have you had the codes pulled ?

    If they are side specific Brembo will state it clearly in the installation guide they ship with there rotors. I doubt those are side specific because that is usually only for drilled or slotted rotors....

    getting harder to shift

    If the clutch is original I'd say that the shift issue is likely to be wear related. I think the tranny has proven itself as reliable after 126k. It could be that the tranny needs to be rebuilt after so many miles. If your lucky it may just need a clutch.

    Your better off putting in a dedicated line on something like a water pump due to the current draw. Tapping into an exsisting line might pop a fuse at the wrong time if whatever is supposed to be on the line originaly decides to draw full power. Just buy a relay and run a fused link right to the...

    The manual tranny shouldnt need fluid changes except once or twice during the life of the car. If your gonna change it use something like Royal Purple synthetic since most people say that makes a significant change in shift feel. You didnt say how many miles you have on the car so your problem...

    You have a 2002 GT and your on your third battery ? That's rediculous. If anything I'd say you may have a hi-resistance short or open somewhere in your wiring harness, maybe towards your fuel pump. I say the fuel pump because your saying a new battery cured the condition until the battery died...
