    i was directed towrds 3.73's with my mods, not to say i'm making serious power in fact i'm really disappointed with my car pull.....i don't know if its the gears but it just seems slow and all torque(i know its 5.0 but it has some hp too:) ..... but i can honestly say its a 1st-2nd gear machine...

    live and learn. i think i need 3.55's or the stock 3:08's or whatever with my mods:) i rember when i had my aod i went with the biggest stall like a 3000 and i hated it! i wouldve prefered lower than stock but i thought bigger and better. i had no idea of the concept of the stall...

    see i agree, i have 3.73's but to me the car seems slower than fast. i guess the gear time is too short to feel like a real speed demon??it doesn't make since,i swear my mustang is slow.......im pretty sure i have some other issues or maybe i grown more immune to speed but i stock 91 seemed...

    thanks guys for good responses....i think im going to call the preist first:rlaugh: my money is on fan clutch or clogged radiator. but the rattling/knocking noise only when under load is weird? could this bee related to a clutch not being fully disengaged? the noise sounds like its coming...

    yeah i know man im sure the gauge is just weirding out. i doubt its the mains to. and the noise could be exhaust related but who knows. as of right now i am going to pin point this overheating stuff like you said. i just don't know why a cold or hot it seems to be losing its balls by the miles...

    man this is tough, your 4 popper stang is cleaner than most 5.0's......imo i would keep the stang. you never know what could happen and what is more rare. a clean ecobox escort or a clean coupe? 5.0 or not....

    yes any h pipe will bolt right up in place to the headers, theyre might be some issue with the catback cause every exhasut is a little bit different in measurments. but i'm not sure if its the bbk that is constantly being bashed for a really low (no ground clearance)fit, someone else will chime...

    could be disconnected, get under the car and look up, over the driveshaft should see some cables possibly missing/broke.disconnected. my first 5.0 it was just missing...??? and i could not understand why. 15.00 at the junkyard and i was good to go............
