    good set of struts

Yea, JDMWerks on ebay is where you can get the HP's for $274 shipped. The adjustables would be nice, if you really think you will have the need for them. If your just looking for struts/shocks for the street, than the HP's should be fine. As far as warranty, I did not read anywhere that stated...

    good set of struts

I just installed Steeda Sports along with Tokico HP struts/shocks and I am very pleased with the results :nice: . The ride is not harsh at all and even feels much better over rough and broken pavement. It actually feels like my suspension is absorbing the impact now instead of just transmitting...

    fuel filter general maintence

I changed mine at about 35K miles with a Purolator filter (Motorcraft was out of stock). Very easy to do, I had also purchased a cheap tool to disconnect the fuel line from the filter.

AFS wheel people please come in.

I am bring this thread back, my AFS wheels (black Bullitts) have already been shipped and I forgot to purchase the lug nut kit :bang: . Can anyone tell me for sure if I can reuse the stock nuts? If not what type do I need to buy? I wrote to AFS asking for the specs, but they just suggested I...

    Mid pipe with stock Catback???

I don't have any facts, but in my opinion the stock mid-pipe is more restrictive than the stock catback or headers. Adding a high flow catback will help with sound, but you are still choking at the mid-pipe. I felt good mid-range power with my MRT, especially from 3000rpm and up and did not...

    Mid pipe with stock Catback???

If you are just looking for sound than yes, get the catback first. But if your looking for performance, get a quality, high flow mid-pipe. The stock mid-pipe with all the cats is very restrictive.

    Mid pipe with stock Catback???

No...there was absolutely no drone with the MRT and stock catback. Eventually I installed a Magnaflow catback and I did experience severe drone around 2000rpm's. It was annoying enough to me that I removed the Magnaflow and installed the FRPP catback. With the FRPP there is no drone but it also...

SOTP feel slower after Gear Install?

I am sure someone knows exactly, but I think there is test you can do like turning the tire one full rotation and counting how many times the driveshaft rotates. It is something like that.

    Rim size question

maybe I am missing it, but how about telling us what size tires you have now...According to most manufactures tire specs, a 275/40 is the smallest size recommended for a 10.5" rim. Although a 285/40 or 315/35 would be more appropriate.

    Mid pipe with stock Catback???

Its fine. The first mod I did was install a MRT catted-H pipe with my stock catback. It made the car sound much better and gave a very nice SOTP gain.

Deep Dish: Mach1 vs. Blk Bullitt

I did purchase the AFS ones. If it does have a smaller lip that is fine with with me. I would actually prefer a slightly smaller lip similar to the lip on the 18"s.

Deep Dish: Mach1 vs. Blk Bullitt

Thanks for the reply's everyone, I decided and ordered the Black Bullitts  My wife photochopped some onto a picture of my car and it looked really good. She even stated it looked better than she thought it would. I will post some pics in a week or so when they come in.

Deep Dish?? not about pics or wheel size

Well, I just ordered the black deep dish Bullitts. I will post some pics in a week or so. I think I may be done with mods for a while, in the last month I have installed the Mach1 chin spoiler, Bullitt fuel door, CDC lightbar, Steeda Sports w/Tokico HP's and now the Black Bullitts. :D

    17's VS 18's

agreed...18"s do look good on our cars as long as the tire has a decent profile size to go along with it.

    17's VS 18's

18's will not necessarily throw off your speedometer or fill in the wheel well gap. It all depends on the tire you get and its overall diameter. Many of the common 18" tire sizes such as 275/35/18 & 245/40/18 are basically the same diameter as stock 245/45/17's. The 265/35/18's that many people...

    Tires... good ones... ?

I think if you get some springs and stick with tires close to the stock diameter you will get the look your after. I just installed some Steeda Sport springs last weekend and the front dropped perfect, but still hopeing for another 1/2" drop in the rear. Plus you will probably get a better ride...

Deep Dish: Mach1 vs. Blk Bullitt

I thought about 18's, but decided to stick with 17"s. I think the FR500's are awesome, but would probably go with the Anthracites on my car. When it comes to Bullitt wheels, I want something different than what most stock GT's already have.

Deep Dish: Mach1 vs. Blk Bullitt

Ok, I tried posting a similar question in Talk, but I really was not getting any response. I was considering the Black Bullitts and then I saw these AFS Mach1 Mac Black deep dish wheels. I would like to hear what you all think would look best on my DSG Vert. I am thinking the Mach1's would ad...
